Mafia's Nemesis

Mafia's Nemesis

“Moreover you don’t strike me as the heroic type anymore—unlike her.” Antonio cracked his knuckles and signalled Grinch, with coordinated steps they marched towards the elevator. "You might have succeeded in erasing HQ and the Sketch, Blade Knuckles" Breanna confronted in outrage. The two men paused mid-step but didn't turn. "Surprise ?", the word dripped out sinisterly from her lips. "Nothing hides from Breanna Stewart's microscopic eyes". Without lingering around, they continued their journey. "Sombra Azul!, Vincenzo!, Liza Minnelli!, Maya—Does it ring a bell? The case of New Mexico's serial killer is solved". Breanna echoed, falling into step behind them.

Hotter Than Hell

Hotter Than Hell

The door closes and I begin trembling. I'm not sure if it's caused by Moon, the overload of adrenaline, or the hit to my head. I remind myself who he is-all the horrible things I know about him. He's the embodiment of every criminal who has crossed my path. He has multiple deaths credited to his organization. There's never been enough evidence to pin them on Moon, but law enforcement knows he's responsible. And even with all these thoughts, my damn body doesn't care.

A MADMAN'S OBSESSION

A MADMAN'S OBSESSION

“In my world, there is no such thing as legal or illegal. There is only permission… and consequences.” One of the men shifted nervously. Zandrei’s eyes darkened and his lips curved into a faint smile. “If a man steals with a gun, he is called a criminal. If a man steals with documents, signatures, and government seals…” He tilted his head, letting the silence stretch. “He is called authority.” Zandrei folded his hands and chuckled. “But we are neither criminals… nor officials.” His eyes glinted. “We are the consequence." He tapped his fingers against the table marking each word.

The Prophecy: Amarah's Alpha

The Prophecy: Amarah's Alpha

He thought he heard her wrong. “What name did you say, Amarah?!” Gavin asked intently, stepping into her line of sight. Amarah looked at her father, her lips trembling at his harsh tone. “Monroe.” She stated lightly. She looked up at Clayton. “Remember that elderly man I told you about who is cranky? The one you saw me talking to a few days ago. Monroe Williams. He’s also like you. He transformed into one as well and fought the three wolves.” “What does he look like, Mari?!” Her father demanded intently.

HIS MOST WANTED KARMA

HIS MOST WANTED KARMA

“You’re clearly not okay. Are you sick? Or mourning another lost fortune from gambling?” Camila gave a small smile, the kind that disappeared as quickly as it came. “Growing up, my childhood was a mess. I was abused as a child, and my mother wasn’t there to shield me from my stepfather. I learned how to survive in the streets.” Her lips trembled as she chuckled bitterly. “Funny how I’ve become the kind of woman I always hated in my mother, irresponsible, a gambler who never wins. I’ve ruined everything. My own son doesn’t even want to speak to me.” A single tear slid down her cheek, but she quickly brushed it away. “I can’t keep living like this, Captain.”

The Murder Pal

The Murder Pal

After a long pause, he said softly, "Yes. He always took my things. He said we were poor and that I didn't have a dad." My heart ached. I pulled him into my arms. "If anyone ever says stuff like that again, tell me. I'll deal with them, okay?" He nodded and looked up at me. "Mom, Liam is dead. Will he turn into a ghost and come for me?" I froze. "Why would you think that?" "He told me before. He said if he died, he'd come back as a ghost to take me with him." A surge of anger rushed through me.

My Mafia Mate

My Mafia Mate

I said, remaining calm despite my wolf begging to take over. “All of it! I was being blackmailed by Vladimir, he said I had to give him information! He threatened my mom so I told him about the small load, I didn’t give away anything big,” the man wailed. I got in his face, leaning over him since he was strapped to a table. “You have a problem, YOU COME TO ME! You come TO ME,” I yelled, spitting in his face. “You were back in the states, I didn’t trust anyone else,” he whined.

The Mates of Monsters

She was one of us—civilized, organized as we are. I have my shower, but I'm in there for too long. I stand under the spray and work through the case like a detective—like it's mine to decipher and test and solve. If the Luna is the mother of the pack, then surely it is the mother's job to figure out why her children are killing each other. Yet no matter how hard I think, I still cannot get past the woman's ability to murder someone so attached to herself. And as I knew I would, I compair.

Ceejay Ramirez
This is a very good book and can be part of my Recommended List. And for readers like me who like to read reviews first before deciding if they will read the book, this is NOT your TYPICAL werewolf story if you’re like me who loves reading them. BUT it’s very worthy tackling the true concept of MATE
Gabbalaba
What a delight! Well-written, this story is an expression of the authors maturity in writing and in story telling. Internal dialogue and conflict of our main is the whole story, the tone slightly heavy. Great feminist lead, who has her cake and eats it too! Also the Alpha is pretty great too.

Murder Motel

Murder Motel

He likes to refer to them a bottom feeders, vultures or the classic 'fucking freaks' depending on his mood. With all the media coverage that the case had garnered nation wide, he had hordes of people beating the doors down to see it. Everyone had wanted to see the infamous 'murder motel' where the crazy man and his deranged son had kidnapped all those women and then brutally murdered them. Everyone's favorite place to check out was the old well that had held all the bodies of the victims.

Frequently Asked Questions

For me, the early seasons of 'Criminal Minds' really hang together because of Gideon’s steady hand — he’s essentially the lead profiler for almost every case in season 1 and throughout season 2. He opens the show in the pilot, 'Extreme Aggressor', and his methodology and moral gravity shape how the BAU approaches investigations in those episodes. That meant that in practice, any episode from the first two seasons that features the team’s behavioral analysis has Gideon steering the profiling work, mentoring teammates and taking the primary role during briefings and interviews.

He stays the central intellectual force into season 3 until his mid-season departure, so if you want to see Gideon in full leadership mode, binge the bulk of seasons 1 and 2 first. What I love about revisiting those episodes is how his calm interrogation style and quiet ethics contrast with the show’s later, punchier leadership dynamics — it makes the early seasons feel like a different, more cerebral animal. It’s bittersweet to watch him walk away, but those episodes really knit the early series together, and they remain some of my favorites to rewatch.
