Bound By Magic And Moonlight
I begin carefully, “but I’ve been seeing things. Visions. I’ve seen a woman, tall, black hair like ink, eyes the color of fresh blood. And recently, I saw her again, on the edge of my campus, in the real world. I think… I know she’s connected to something dark. Something old. And there was this drawing of a creature in a cave outside of town, where a coven used to practice magic. I think the creature is called a Lycan.”
Liora doesn’t flinch, but her eyes narrow just slightly. “Lycans,” she repeats, the word heavy in the room. “Most believe they’re myths. But they’re not. They did exist, centuries ago. My knowledge is limited, though. I’ve only heard fragments passed down through stories.”
