I pursed my lips, “So do I,” I said, held Hazel’s hand, and walked into my office, not even bothering to glance back at him.
Just as I settled in my chair, she looked up at me, her eyes wide, “Is Adomis your boyfwend?”
My cheeks burned as I gazed at her. Was the tension between me and Adonis that intense that even a child noticed it?
“He’s my husband… unfortunately,” I deadpanned while she just stared at me blankly. I didn’t expect her to understand what I said.
