Damian turns to Caleb with a sharp look. “There’s a kid in the room.” Caleb blinks. “Oh. Fu— I forgot.” “Explain,” Holly presses. “If there’s something I should know…” Naomi sighs, clearly embarrassed. “It’s… a multiple mates thing,” she says. “If you’re apart for too long, being around them again can get… intense.”

Chapter 29 Kora's POV How do I survive without my mates, they’re always leaving for places that are unknown and I have to wait for their return doing nothing. “I know you’re having thoughts about your mates, they would be back” “They never told me of this, they leave all of a sudden and let me stay alone. I don’t like it” I complained as Matrine mocked my words calmly. “Why are you mocking me?” I inquired as I stared deep into her eyes, wondering what her thoughts were.

He echoed, finally recovering from the shock of finding his first ever mate. Silvia disengaged the hug and stared at both of us, with pure wide eyed shock, still processing what was occuring. Basically, for the game, we’re parents and they’re parents” she explained. Well that makes sense. “Oh! Okay! Then we’re mates then!” I said happily. Kaia laughed and rolled her eyes, “Only in this game. We can’t possibly be mates in real life” she said before walking to a nearby bench to put her book down. These kids are funny. I don’t know what they are but they seem like great people.

“You may have your seats.” “To the business at hand. We have a new decree and it automatically becomes a law once I read it out, got it?” My eyes scanned the entire hall before I turned to Jerome to continue. He heaved a sigh softly, expelling hot air from his mouth then he began to read out the decree. “A law against mistreatment of mates.” His gruffy chill voice rang out. “From now henceforth, On no account should a mate be found mistreating their mate.
