One Italian Summer นิยาย & เรื่องราว

Leonardo said stiffly in Italian and Salvatore let go of my hair. "Well, of course, baby cousin, she's a killer," Salvatore responded in Italian, his tone condescending, "or at least that's what you say. Emma!" he raised his voice and immediately a young lady in a short red dress entered the place, she looked like an escort and that's not being said in a bad way. She was insanely beautiful, like the Italian girls you find in Rome. Long dark hair that fell all the way to her lower back, red lips that matched with her red dress and black stilletos. She immediately strutted towards him and wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him.

“I don’t know why you bother. It feels like you’ve been studying for years and years now. When will this shit finally be over and done with?” “It’s only another year, Dad, stop being so damn dramatic,” I muttered in my own defense, folding my arms. “Either way, I’m not having you spending the whole summer holiday couped away in your bedroom,” he snarled. “When was the last time you went out and had some fun? I need to get you on your feet, get you active again.” “I like being at home,” I retorted. “We’re going to Italy,” Dad stated matter-of-factly, as if he’d already made the decision, and it wasn’t up for debate.

The summer before my final Senate session was the summer Kade and I went back to Italy alone. Not Amalfi. The Cinque Terre, five villages on a cliff face above the Mediterranean, reached by train and ferry and steep stone steps that felt ancient underfoot because they were. We had been talking about going for five years and we had never found the right window and this summer the window appeared because the children were old enough for two weeks with Eloise and Killian and James was at his engineering summer program anyway.

I’ll let him feel how it feels like to lose what he cares about the most. After a long silence, Summer took a deep breath and retrieved her USB drive. ‘That’s it. Ending things like this is pretty good too. ‘Finally, I can stop acting around Jasper and then I no longer need to stay with him. That’s… pretty good.’ “Sum, they’re out of spicy aglio olio. Is zucchini noodles okay?” Jasper had gone to a lot of places but in the end, he bought the noodles from a shop near to A University.

"You look a little serious, Clau, are you still feeling bad?" "No, I'm better now," I took a breath of air. "Why was Pilar hugging you?" "Are you jealous?" "Not at all, I'm just curious." "She was just thanking me for supporting her through this difficult time in her life," he smiled. "Well, I don't want to ruin this day, I want us to have a nice afternoon with you and I," I smiled. We decided to go eat some traditional Italian food. I love Alfredo pasta, from there we decided to go boating on a lake.

Katana had always loved Italy. The cobblestone streets, the rich history, and the mouthwatering cuisine made every visit special. This time, she had come without her boyfriend, eager for a girls' day out with Annizah and Fione. Isabelle and her son Marco were also invited, and with their husbands occupied elsewhere, it was a perfect opportunity for a carefree outing. The sun shone brightly as they strolled through the bustling streets of Rome, the vibrant atmosphere filling them with excitement. Fione skipped ahead, her laughter echoing through the narrow alleys, while Marco followed closely, his shy demeanor replaced by a newfound confidence.

"Seriously guys you are just plain mean right now. I was always skinny. Come on... Jeez." "You're right. Except that one summer. You were 8. Remember?" "Yeah." My mom agreed. "You suck so much I don't even... " I told them. Dinner was great comparing to the awful afternoon. My mom served us icecream and everything. Gelato, apparently is what it is called in Italy. I went with King outside. To his car. To say goodnight. "Drive safely. And calm the funk down. Ok?" "Alright I will. Can I come get you tomorrow. 7 am?" He snaps.

“Well maybe for you but I am an Italian man and food always puts me in a good mood. Anyways, I have to go now; these ladies are not going to wait for me forever” “Or you could always come and visit me here, let’s have a bro’s night out” Leonardo offered, hoping that his offer would persuade his best friend to fly over from Fiji to Hawaii to come and visit him. “Thank you for the offer but I would much prefer to the company of these lovely women” Ricardo told Leonardo, killing all his hopes of spending time away from Avena. “Bye” Leonardo angrily told his best friend as he ended the call between them. **

It was not until noon that Summer woke up at leisure. In fact, she woke up hungry. She raised her hands and casually tied up her hair with ribbons, and felt an indescribable sense of casualness. She had not eaten spaghetti for a long time and was now craving it. Mark and Charlotte had no objection, and so the three of them went to a nearby Italian restaurant. The weather had gotten colder than before. Charlotte did not have any coats, so they went to a mall and bought bags of clothes.

Kiray said happily, hugging Lirah. “Don’t mention it. We’ll only be gone for a short while. I just need to confirm something there,” Lirah replied while observing her friend from head to toe. “And why are you dressed for winter?” “Well, isn’t it snowing there?” “It’s summer in Italy right now. You don’t need that.” Kiray pouted. “Oh, really? I thought I’d finally see white snow! What a shame!” Lirah chuckled with a smile. “Take it off. You’ll feel too hot.”
