One Italian Summer นิยาย & เรื่องราว

“Are you interested in some props for the Last Day of Summer Fest? We offer free juice and photos on the side.” “When is the day?" “Pardon?” Valentina looked over at her like she was staring at a grade two child. “When is the fest?” Colleen had no idea so she looked to Tobias for help and thankfully, he answered. “21st of this month. A few superstars like Johnny Crane, and Naomi Statham will be in attendance. I would recommend you get a summer hat for the occasion but unfortunately, we’re sold out. So, how about a tee shirt?”

“Okay, I need to tell you…about updating the bucket list!” Lucas groaned. “You’ve been adding more things, haven’t you?” Jamie laughed, opening his notebook, sun glinting off the pages. “Oh, just the essentials: one-night stand, clubbing, getting drunk, yacht adventures… you know, classic Italy stuff!” Lucas blinked, eyes widening slightly. “One… night stand? You… really wrote that? I thought you were joking.” Jamie shrugged, playful grin spreading across his freckled face. “Hey, it’s Italy! If we’re going to go big, we go big. I wanna have a summer fling like in the movies.”

There is a jacuzzi and more seating. Wow. — You Italians really know how to live. Giulio raised his glass. — Actually we know, Bella. So why would you want to leave? As I sipped the cocktail, the Roman sun warming my face, I had to agree. This was as close to perfection as I could imagine. But perfection never lasted. Losing my mother at such a young age taught me this. You had to appreciate what you had in the moment because who knew when it would disappear? This summer I was in Italy and I had a hot boyfriend who was incredibly rich. For now, that was enough.

“I’m just telling you what you don't want to see. Stop playing games and take things seriously.” “Paulette is unbearable…” “Get married and move on with your life, but don't compromise your future for anything or anyone. The family demands it, and you know the family is everything.” He nods seriously. “I’ll think about it,” he finally murmurs just as the door opens. Eva opens it and, like the rest, looks at me in surprise. “You look… different this morning.” “We have the Italian mafia boss in the office,” Renzo mocks, and Eva shakes her head.

Rose asks, which snaps me out of my daze. "What festival?" I ask and Scar laughs. "Vieste has a festival during the summer time every year," Rosi says. "There is little games for kids and I thought Rose would love to go." "I'm down!" Scar smiles and looks at Logan who nods. "It's a fun way to end our trip before we go home? What do you say Dani? Have one last fun night in Italy?"

Instead, my little Summer is there, stirring into a pot of cream sauce and the smell in here is highly concentrated, thus, it is divine. "What are you doing, Summer?" I ask, shock evident in my voice. "Spaghetti bolognese? As an Italian, I guessed you would appreciate a home-cooked meal like that," Summer explains, turning into the pot. Walking up to her, I plant a kiss on the side of her sweaty neck and salt hits my taste buds. I don't mind, just kiss her a little more until she moans softly, her hands unconsciously stirring the pot. "Do you need help with anything?" I ask wanting to help out.

In his line of work, he’d learned quickly that delayed gratification only made collecting his prize that much sweeter. Still, he ducked his head, and with his eyes fixed intently on her luscious mouth, he nudged the tip of her nose with his. “What homework? The only thing you need to know is to let yourself get lost in Italy with a beautiful woman.” He let his voice fall, low and husky, enjoying the noticeable shiver of delight it sent over her. “And to eat your fill of gelato. I’ve already done the first part. We’re in the motherland of gelato, darlin’. Let’s get on with the second.”

But there's this fact that I can't fight that, I can only hate myself rather. But even before any of us can speak, a hard knock comes on the door and Summer's yell follows, "Aunty, there's a hot green eyed, pale skinned american asking of you!" Hot? Green eyed? Pale skinned? That sounds very familiar, but this is Cinque Terre. I give my mute mate a long stare once more before turning around to leave the room. I descend the stairs with a quiet Summer at my side. She isn't saying anything and that is only good for my mood right now. You can bet I won't be able to cope with a rambling tween and a nagging inner self. Just as we descend the stairs, I sight that familiar back view in the living ro

I leaned back, letting the memories flood in. “Not here, exactly. But Italy. My parents used to bring me and my sister here every summer when we were teenagers. They thought it would ‘broaden our horizons,’ whatever that meant.” I chuckled dryly. “We mostly just ran around the vineyards, getting into trouble.” Kelly smiled, leaning forward slightly. “What kind of trouble?” “Oh, the usual teenage stuff. Sneaking wine, trying to impress girls. There was this one summer...” I trailed off, the image of a dark haired girl with a smile flashing in my mind.

Summer in Italy greeted them with clear blue skies and scorching yet warming sunshine. The air was filled with the aroma of fresh coffee, citrus peels, and ancient stones that had absorbed history for thousands of years. Amidst the hustle and bustle of tourists from all over the world, Cassie and Charles, a married couple from England, were embarking on their summer vacation adventure in the heart of Italy, the city of Rome.
