In fact, I can't wait to devour it. When is it coming out? I go online on my laptop to check. Next year? I have to wait that long? Now, this is just torture. I allow myself to simmer in my frustration for a minute. If only I had someone to talk to about this book, I'd probably feel better faster, but I don't. It's sad, really. HAPPY READING, and as always I am open to answering any questions as long as it doesnt give anything away. This time I have a small question for all of you. She doesn't even wait for me to get out before opening her door and standing tall, looking at the front of the club with curiosity. “You look disappointed.” She glances at me as if surprised I called her out for the emotion visible on her face and lifts a shoulder. “I expected more, I guess.” That seems like a reasonable enough response, and I know it in my head. Club Red may not look like much on the outside, but that is a dangerous stance to take because the club isn’t about what's going on at the facade, it's about what's happening within. “Always dangerous to judge a book by its cover.”

So I let her go and wished I hadn't seen the disappointment in her eyes as I did so. "I brought you this." I shoved the local newspaper across the counter towards her. Yes, I could have looked at it on my phone or tablet but I liked to have the paper in my hands. It was a daily habit and one I wouldn't give up to technology. Natalia shook out the fold and read the column written there. No, it wasn't the top headline, but in this town, it was a big deal. We were the sex club that everyone talked about behind their hands but they were first in line on Friday night dressed for their favorite kink.
