Why is he here? It can’t really be over a shirt. I got a small peek into his massive closet, and it’s bigger than my whole bedroom and filled with clothes. “No.” I drop my arms and then fold them over my chest again protectively. “No?” He repeats the word, a smile pulling at his lips.

And for real, I could use a little fuck to let out my building frustration. I open the closet to get some clothes but I'm astonished at what I'm seeing. It's a stylish lineup of tuxedos, suits, and coats. Plain trousers. Tailored shirts. Nothing simple. No denim pants. No leather jackets. No shorts. No joggers. No hoodies. No henleys. Nothing casual. What the fuck am I in this world? A priest or the moon goddess's most modest son? My frustration hit the roof and I'm fucking stranded, standing there and looking at my boring closet. After a few minutes, I take out a long-sleeved shirt with tailored pants.

Vincent would prefer to stare at me with wide eyes and a tilted head until I grow curious enough to check it out myself. His method works. The room was stunning, decorated in rich colors and textures. A large bed dominated the space, with luxurious linens and an array of pillows that seemed to invite relaxation. A massive walk-in closet stood to one side, its doors slightly ajar. I hadn’t paid attention or noticed this other wardrobe before, when I’d looked into the empty closet earlier. Curiosity stirred within me as I walked over, peering inside. What awaited me was nothing short of overwhelming. The closet was filled with a vast array of clothing—everything from casual wear to elegant dresses and, yes, seductive pieces that made my cheeks flush with embarrassment.

I said, my voice hoarse. "Of course," he said with a slight bow, setting the tray on a small table. "The closet is fully stocked. Please, take your time." He was gone as quietly as he came. I turned to the walk-in closet, my jaw almost dropping. It was a high-end boutique. Rows of designer gowns, racks of tailored pants, and shelves of silk shirts. Every size, every style. All in my size. I settled on a pair of tailored black trousers and a simple cream-colored silk blouse. I splashed cold water on my face, pulled my hair back into a severe knot, and went downstairs for breakfast.

I was blown away by the number of antiques in the room. I went inside the room to take a good look when I realized something and turned towards Caleb, “No closet?” “Oh, there is a walk-in closed at the end. That door”. He pointed towards the door. I opened in and saw a giant room, filled with clothes of all styles. “Well, I went shopping with mom. We didn’t really know what your personal taste is like, so brought almost everything” He laughed and scratched the back of his head. Well, my personal taste is a 3XL t-shirt with dolphin shorts, but am I going to tell him that? Absolutely not!

I remember marrying Dominic until the light flashed before my eyes.
