The Time of Lavender

The Time of Lavender

It was a humble abode with a charm that was starkly different from the skyscrapers of New York but equally captivating. Vincent, noticing her foreign attire and subtle disorientation, assumed she was a traveller who had lost her way. As a perfect gentleman, he offered her his hospitality. His home was simple, the walls adorned with beautiful paintings, and the atmosphere filled with the scent of dried lavender and paint. His world was so vastly different from hers, yet there was an inexplicable comfort that Abigail found in the tranquillity of his home and his kind demeanor.

Untamed

Untamed

When they pushed through to the final set of small trees, she stopped at her tracks. In front of them was a security place - a place of defence, covered in droplets and an area of the moonlight covered it. Flashes of firelight shone on broken windows, and figures – both men and women resembling wolves, silently walked along the outer wall, their eyes flashing in shades of gold, silver and red. “Welcome to the den,” Thoren said. “A refuge for the outcasts.” Lydia felt her tightness in her chest. The people she was seeing were more than just mere outsiders; they were exiles – marked by their pasts and carrying the weight of forgotten heritage.

Alpha Leon's Regret

Alpha Leon's Regret

Too close. “I know.” After a few minutes, the guard returned. “The Alpha will see you,” he said. “Come with me.” Relief and tension mixed inside me at once. I nodded and followed him through the gates and toward the mansion. As I walked, I could feel the eyes of the warriors around me. They were watching me closely. This was not my territory. I was an outsider here. The guard led me up the wide steps and into the mansion. The inside was just as imposing as the outside. The halls were wide and clean, lined with dark walls and strong pillars. Everything looked perfect and controlled. There was no mess...no softness.

The Broken Luna, Reborn

The Broken Luna, Reborn

Face covered with leaves like masks but more patterned than the one on Killian's face. They clutched onto daggers like their life depended on it as they surrounded us from all sides. I tried to make out what clan they were but as far as I was taught by my adopted father, a wolf didn't need to carry weapons. I watched as Ivy took a step back when an old woman came through the door. Grey hair but with a good stance. “Outsiders," she hissed out. Ivy held out her hand in surrender, like she was showing them she wasn't a threat but I doubt any of these people understood what it meant.

An Outcast Of Time

An Outcast Of Time

The prison was murky and dark, adding a little moisture, but dry and hot, making people feel like they were trapped until there was no way back. A cloud of fog suddenly appeared outside the iron bar, which was originally empty. The fog disintegrated, giving way to a young woman and a watch. Aurora looked bewildered. The atmosphere here made her feel suffocatingly heavy, and her breathing slowed to the point of being out of breath. She smelled the sweat in the air, mixed with the hot summer afternoon sun, so intense that people lost consciousness.

The Darkness

The Darkness

Natalia narrowed her eyes as she took a deep sniff trying to find a foreign scent. "Maybe, you are right," Jimmy sighed, not hearing the sound again. Natalia nodded, setting her hand on the banister. "After you?" Jimmy relaxed and started climbing the steps, slowly. "I feel like an outsider invading this place." "In a small way, we are outsiders. This is not my pack." Although the home was empty it still belonged to Quinn’s pack. "I know it is not. I was just thinking we are chasing ghosts." Jimmy sounded tired.

The OutCasts

The OutCasts

While most of them have fled, there are still a few inside, trying desperately to help others who have been buried. My hand still sizzling, I shake it off and pull it back. About to reach in and pull out some more wires, I stop when I hear Dr. Cho screams. It wasn't her gloating but her being taken by surprise. Looking out, I see the four OutCasts charging toward me. "They sure took their time," I think as I reach in.

Midwinter Town: A Novella

Midwinter Town: A Novella

“He has not; I forbade him. But I have had enough of it, and now I go to him, since he, being in service, cannot come to me. I intended to ask of you and my benefactress a refuge for this maiden while I went to Rashroff alone; but since you say that it is safe everywhere, I will take her. She is curious, the magpie, to see the world. Let her look at it.” “And let people look at her,” put in Zastar. “Ah, they would have nothing to see,” said the young lady, out of whose dark eyes and mouth, fixed as if for a kiss, something quite different was speaking. “An ordinary puss, nothing more than a puss!” said Sir Novoveski. “But if she sees a handsome officer, something may happen; therefore I chos

Alpha, Your Warrior Ex-Wife is Back

Alpha, Your Warrior Ex-Wife is Back

“Outside then. Come on.” Gideon moved first, stepping outside. I followed along behind him, even though I had no intention of answering his questions. I wanted to get Nova out of this house. Out of this territory. She would not be fully safe until she was behind the walls of Ivan’s pack house, protected by his walls and his warriors. In fact, I wasn’t even going to waste time. I turned my feet in the direction of the border to Ivan’s pack and started to walking there, carrying Nova tightly against me.

REJECTED BY THE ALPHA, CLAIMED BY THE OUTCAST

REJECTED BY THE ALPHA, CLAIMED BY THE OUTCAST

I asked, feeling a bit offended but he chuckled softly, still riding his bike, he informed, "We didn't lost him. He stopped following us because in these lands we are, I have people and he didn't come with enough to start a fight with," "Oh..." I murmured, enlightened. "Yes..." We suddenly got to a big mansion, and Jax scanned his face in front of the camera at the gate before it opened. "Where is this?" I asked, a bit skeptical because he didn't mention anything about taking me anywhere. "This is my home," he said, causing me to arch my brows as he stopped the bike behind a beautiful fountain—the kind of view that just welcomes you the second you step into the compound.

honestly, books like this are the reasons why I'm considering reading less of Fantasy and more of werewolf romance. this story takes an old idea and doesn't just make it new, it grinds it down and makes something Beautiful from the ash. (sorry but I'm a bit of a poet ...) I absolutely recommend.
KAIVEN NOIR
Wow! This is one of the most interesting novels I've read here. Your storyline is top-notch, and your writing style keeps me hooked from chapter 1. You are so talented! I am waiting for the next update.
