Overlord Yggdrasil Novels & Stories

He says questioning his own words. “This is why the dagger needed his blood. It’s his blood that can open gateways to other realms.” Oliver says, giving me his input. “When we were in the tree, there was this old woman, a sorceress, called Yggdrasil. It seems as though she had the answers to everything, that all this was already going to happen.” I search my memories, or rather Inanna’s memories for the name but come up empty. When this realm was created, it was by the hands and vision of the moon goddess. Beyond that, I knew nothing.

They will be used to tilt the land and rebuild his territory. This is some of the recollection of the old Eduard memories in his mind. The other things were disregarded by Eduard. They are not useful for him and only part of Eduard personal experience. While he was busy with recalling all the information he needs to survive this world, a transparent skill suddenly opened in front of him. [ welcome to the True strongest system] "Hmm, a real support system!" He muttered with an excited expression on his face. The appearance of the system was not something to be shocked for him, instead he was curious on how it feels when you have this thing with you.

Some of them migrated into the mountains but it was likely that they planted the seed for Yggdrasil that gave birth to my existence} “I never knew there was a seed of Yggdrasil here. Is it in Aldie’s Hollow?” {It's hidden safely in the den of the dragons} "That's surprising. I thought you hated the dragons?" {The dragons occupied the heart of Yggdrasil and we had to make our home elsewhere. Wait here. We're close} Madeline suddenly stopped flying and hovered in front of a tree was like the others around it. Her forehead glowed green, a symbol appearing on the tree at the same time. Slowly, a portal opened in front of the tree, a pitch black darkness at the other side.

I don't trust Lyra, and I don't think I ever will, but trying to refrain myself from wanting her so badly is an urge I can't fight against. "It's the curse, isn't it?" Damien asked. My fist clenched, knowing that he was right. I hated the part where he knew everything. Clause and Axle aren't aware of the curse that Lyra acted up a few weeks ago. The Curse of the Unbridled Alpha, an ancient affliction that strikes the most powerful pack leaders, renders them helpless against their primal instincts, driving them to surrender to their basest desires and act on impulse. Their control over their actions is fragile as the moon's phases dictate their fate.

It was like plunging a feverish limb into a mountain stream. The map of Olyndra, the ancient city in the trees, began to project onto the walls of the infirmary. It wasn't a blueprint for a city; it was a blueprint for a nervous system. The High Surgeons hadn't just saved the seeds. They had saved the plan for a planetary brain.

Wasn’t he the highest-ranking person in the Plenilune Sect then? The Yggdrasil family was even more unworthy of her circle. “If he’s dead, then he’s dead! “But, for daring to destroy my Yggdrasil family, I will settle this debt sooner or later!” At this moment, Plenilune Sect’s sect master lowered himself to the ground in an unimaginable manner and started rummaging around Elder Quint’s corpse. He was looking for the Extreme Heaven’s Gourd and the storage ring. Especially the storage ring.

“A century? Two? Three?” “The tendrils… They stop him from using any of his powers.” Jade explains, “Even Nexus herself has her favorites, and it turns out… you aren't one of her favorites.” Jade’s eyes turned white as she began chanting. “Abi! Redi mundum tuum et dormi usque ad diem reversionis tuae.” “What is she saying?” I asked Bruce. “A spell to send the Overlord back to his realm until the day of his awakening.” Bruce responded.

They had everything they could ever want, for many tens of thousands of years. But it would also be a prison of sorts. There’d be no leaving it, as the only other thing out there would be Godeater and its endless darkness. Worse, there wasn’t any guarantee at all that Godeater wouldn’t consume Yggdrasil either. Just because it hadn’t done so already didn’t mean it wasn’t going to later. Everything felt as though they were right on the precipice of falling into an eternal abyss. “I really like the sound of that,” Azrael replied. “But Yggdrasil can’t be the only option, yeah? There has to be other places out there that maybe Godeater can’t reach, or maybe doesn’t want to. Is that even a thing?

“Forgive my rudeness. However, I want to confirm whether what you state was true or not. Are you really a descendant of Draco Blair?” “Yes, I am.” Matthew answered after a short pause. “I see, then I apologise again on behalf of my underlings. Allow me to explain regarding the crystal.” Belle said. Matthew saw a glimmer of hope in her words and excitedly listened. “What Gilas said was true. Yggdrasil is the tree of the world. It is the world’s symbol of life. As such, it has its own consciousness. If the tree’s will does not want to meet you, then no matter what you do you will not get anything. However, it’s a different case if it does want to.”

I am in another world, but the fact that I have no friends here too makes me feel inferior, wishing that I could meet someone with whom I can share stories and waves of laughter in this kind of place. I stopped on my track as soon as I remembered that I should go to the Headmistress’ office for the orientation. Professor McLaren and Dr. Foster cannot accompany me due to prior commitments. So, they instructed me to walk straight ahead and look for an old structure. But how can I find it if the buildings in this place were all designed anciently? I pulled the book that Dr. Foster had given me from my bag. I tried to search for a map and smiled when I found it. My smile faded and was replaced b
