Paige uttered and sighed. Serene smiled and nodded. "Sure, thanks" she muttered. Paige rolled her eyes and glared at her friend, "what is there to thank me about? You are my best friend, remember? I am only doing what I should and I haven't even done enough for you. But, what can I do? I am helpless myself and I am only stuck at being a third-rate actress with almost no future. Since my parents disowned me after the abortion I got in high school..." Paige paused and sighed while Serene looked at her and pressed her lips together.

She didn’t know why Kayden wished her luck, even though he sounded nice, she was still uneasy about it. “What are we going to do? We know nothing about shoes!” Paige complains in sheer horror, as she scanned some of the old sketches Dora had given them to help. Crystal just kept pacing, she couldn’t and wouldn’t let Kayden get the better of her, and whatever game he is playing to ruin her she’ll beat him at it. “Paige now isn’t the time, like Harris would say “be creative”” Paige scoffed at her, since when is Harris her role model?

However, as she reached for the door, her arm was abruptly grabbed, halting her in her tracks. "Ruby, right?" a familiar voice addressed her. It was Paige, the girl with bangs, who had just entered the bathroom in a rush. Ruby recognized her as the one Luke had developed a slight crush on. She couldn't blame him; Paige was undeniably beautiful, and many considered her the epitome of attractiveness in their high school. Unfortunately, Paige was dating the very person who had caused Ruby so much confusion and frustration—Caden, the devil himself.

Nathan sat in his office, going through some files. He was engrossed in reviewing a stack of documents when the door swung open, and Paige walked in. Her eyes were fixed intently on her phone, a small smile playing on her lips. Curiosity piqued, Nathan looked up from his work and raised an eyebrow. "Paige, what's got you so captivated?" Paige's gaze shifted from her phone to Nathan, and her smile widened. "Oh, hi Mr. Grey. Sorry to interrupt, but I'm just watching your wife’s show. I'm a big fan of hers."

The door was ajar, and Talia could hear Paige talking on the phone. "Mr. Pratt? Hello, I was wondering if you could do me a favor. "Yes, this is Paige, the model. "Okay, well, I won't keep you." A few moments later, Paige dialed another number. "Hello, Mr. Aguilar, it's Paige Webb. I was hoping you could help me with something. "Oh, Mr. Aguilar's busy? Well, never mind, then. "Hello, is this Mr. Hardin? Yes, it's Paige."

"Though I can't imagine why any respectable company like the Velmera group would want someone so... unstable." Heat flared in my chest. "Unstable? That's rich, coming from someone who screws her best friend's husband." Paige's mask slipped for just a second, her eyes flashing with venom. "Ancient history, darling. Some of us know how to move on and land on our feet." She gestured to her designer outfit, her diamond tennis bracelet catching the light. "Others... well, they end up here, begging for scraps." "I'm not begging for anything," I said through gritted teeth.

Paige's POV The children were at school and I was frantically pacing my room trying to give myself moral support from anywhere for what I was about to do,I don't even know why this was what came to mind,but I really want to help Sofya ,at this point I needed someone to tell me I was doing the right things but Grace travelled with her husband for a family vacation and I don't want to disturb her with calls about my problems but I am really panicking here. I stood in front of the mirror for the umpteenth time this morning trying to come up with the right outfit,I needed to look professional, I don't want people looking at me like I am under them that would reduce my confidence, I finally settl

She was already curious as to why he asked to see her and being told to wait was not something she hoped for. "Good morning Nat, Candice said you were asking for me." Paige asked as she stepped into Nathan's office. She took an empty seat opposite him. "Good morning Pai." Nathan greeted smiling. Paige has been a close friend of his from their days​ in college and​ during their internship. Fortunately, they ended up working at the Queens. "I've got news, a big one. It is more of a huge opportunity for a financial breakthrough." Nathan said, smiling broadly.

She asked him in a whispering tone. "I said, I love you and I want you" he replied. Paige lowered her gaze and gave a soft chuckle. It sounded like dream to her. Paige was just a nineteen year old girl while Nate was a year older than she is. She was more than 5ft tall with dark brown hair. Her eyes were light brown with her hairy lashes. She was very light skinned but very beautiful at the same time. Her beautiful heart face that matches with every other thing that's on it. Her nose, lips, eyes, everything was just perfectly made.

"They all ganged up on me." I wrapped my arms around her, stroking her hair. "Shh, it's okay. Let's go outside and talk." I led her to a quiet corner of the restaurant's garden, where a stone bench offered privacy beneath the branches of a flowering tree. Paige sank down, her body still shuddering with suppressed sobs. "Tell me what happened," I urged gently. Paige wiped her eyes, smearing her makeup further. "Ryan brought me to his ex-girlfriend's restaurant," she said, her voice bitter. "Shannon Myers. She's an omega who studied to be a model in the human world. Now she owns this place."
