Pamela Tick Wedding Novels & Stories

My breath caught in my throat. Unable to believe what I'd just heard, I pressed the button again. Only when Cameron Finch's voice sounded again did I realize I hadn't misheard the first time. With trembling fingers, I tapped into Marissa Becker's Instagram, where the latest post was unmistakably a photo taken in a bridal shop. The caption read, "Picking out wedding dresses with the love of my life! I'm going to be the prettiest bride." The man in the photo was only half-visible, but I'd recognize that silhouette anywhere, even with my eyes closed.

Pamela declared. Pamela finally found her voice to refute her mother. She was shocked and disappointed at her parents when they announced her marriage to the young master of the Hayden family, to her. It's her wedding but she was the last to be informed about it. They had to tell her about her own wedding taking place in less than 24 hours. Freya was lost. How dare this pumpkin refuse their kind gesture of marrying her off to such an influential family. She should be thanking them rather than being an ingrate.

Gwen POV I watched my reflection in the vanity mirror in excitement. Today is my wedding day, and like my stylist, I wanted to look impeccable for my groom, Damon Mark Olson. “You are absolutely stunning, dear. Damon would be so proud.” My best friend, Lou Becker, who is also my maid of honor, said excitedly. “She’s more than stunning. She looked perfect.” My stylist argued after giving her handiwork a last once-over. Then, she pulled the veil over my head to complete my look.

When passing my hand over to Tim, Dad solemnly said, "I'm leaving my daughter in your care now." "Rest assured, for I will protect her with my life," Tim promised earnestly. We exchanged our vows and our rings before sharing a passionate kiss. The crowd immediately erupted in cheers and hearty applause. All of the guests were offering their sincerest well-wishes to Tim and me. Meanwhile, in the corner, Dante clapped as he stared at me. He was suddenly reminded of the wedding that never happened two years ago. He thought about how the old me must've been filled with anticipation as I planned every detail of the wedding, from the ceremony to our wedding outfits, and also the reception. He figu

Pam said, giving him a friendly wink. Over the next few days, Byron was extra attentive and tender with Emily. She had been through so much because of the stalker constantly pursuing her, and he wanted to make her life better. It didn't matter if they couldn't be married now. He would wait patiently until she was ready, if ever that day came. The day of Pam's wedding finally arrived. Byron had spent the whole night partying with Mike and his friends and woke up completely hungover in the hotel suite they had rented to ensure no one would drive home drunk.

I replied grimly. "Liar." He plated the eggs and slid them across the counter toward me. "You've got that look you get when you're trying to solve a problem. What's going on?" I considered telling him. But Damian had known me since college, and had seen me through every disaster and triumph. If anyone could offer perspective, it's him. "I think something's wrong with Pamela," I said finally. "Wrong how?" He asked. "She's different. Since the wedding, she's been... I don't know. Softer. More uncertain. Nothing like the woman I proposed to."

Real. My stomach dropped. The puzzle pieces refused to fit. Amelia had been declared dead five years ago. She had vanished in blood and wreckage and silence. And yet here she was, engaged, adored, with a child who looked heartbreakingly loved. I leaned back in my chair, dizzy. Then I saw it. An announcement. Ethan Liam and Amelia Liam cordially invite you to celebrate their union. A wedding. One month from now. The venue was obscene in its luxury—private island, invitation-only, security clearance required. The kind of wedding meant to erase the past completely.

My words were obviously hurting her but I was getting tired of her not understanding that there would be no wedding for us. “Niko, my boy” my mother came to hug me and hugged Pamela next, “You are looking so beautiful Pamela. A man would be so lucky to have a strong and beautiful woman like you to marry. Is this not right, Niko?” “Nice to meet both of you. What is the urgency to have me here? I have an appointment to go. Can we make this quick, Mama?” I asked with my eyes looking around. I was not sure on why Pamela’s brothers were in attendance as well.

“Do you know what you intend to do then?” “Not yet,” Meg admitted. “Charlie and I are still discussing it.” “Luckily, Grace and I have been discussing the wedding for several months,” Pamela chimed in, and Meg envisioned the release of thousands of doves at the conclusion of the ceremony. “Should you want to get married in the next few months, we will be able to pull it all together.” “Wonderful,” Meg said, smiling at her and letting a nervous laugh escape her lips before she caught Charlie’s eyes. She felt his shoe gently tap against her slipper and knew he was signaling for her to humor his mother but not to bother to argue, something she wouldn’t do anyway.

She only needed to see the color climb Brigail's cheek and the painful set of Alcide's jaw. Pam kept track of the stolen glances throughout the service. She did it to stay awake and because it amused her. She counted thirty-two by the time the rings went on. One of the flower girls threw a tantrum halfway through the sermon. The maid of honor nearly set the unity candle table on fire. The pipe organ hit three distinctly wrong notes during the recessional. It was not, objectively, the most efficient wedding Pam had ever attended. But Eli and Brigail's thirty-two stolen glances across the chapel, each one precisely three seconds long, were the most earnest thing she had seen in years.
