Paperback Novel Size Novels & Stories

I walked into his closet and pulled out a shirt and pants. I don't understand when I read books sometimes. The very tiny protagonist puts on a guy's shirt and it swallows her. Like how big is the guy? Is he wearing an XXL sizes shirt? Sheesh! And the shorts or pants...ugh don't get me started. For some reason, even his boxer shorts are XXL! Like what the fork?

The sixth register was smaller than any of them expected. Octavo-sized, the kind of book that fit in one hand, bound in the same worn-honey leather as the others but with a different quality to its age this one had been touched more recently, handled more carefully, as though whoever had held it last had understood what it contained and had treated it accordingly.

I grab it out of her hands and begin going through it, touching all the different pictures as I turn the pages.

*Good. I steal a glance at my parents and they seem very engrossed in the game. I begin to pull out the small book slowly. *It's not like Rune's going to know if I take a peek at his book.* *Oof. Alright. If it is indeed a diary, I'll put it back.* Holding that thought, I take out the book. I peer at the small green thing that is an inch longer than my palm. It is encased in old leather and there is a pencil attached to the side.
