The Substitute Twin Bride

The Substitute Twin Bride

“You sound reluctant.” “Oh, not at all. But when Matteo keeps leaving me like this, I do get lonely.” “Oh my, I’ll tell Matteo to spend more time with you.” Paris tried to catch a glimpse of Romilda through the mirror’s reflection. Maybe she could see her. Unfortunately, Romilda was blocked by a pillar. Paris did not dare turn around. She was too afraid. Memories of prison haunted Paris and bruised her pride. She did not want anyone to know what had happened back then. It was humiliating.

The Jock, The Nerd and The Geek

The Jock, The Nerd and The Geek

His Father stared at him, then slowly, rose the paper up, his eyes scrolling through it before he let out a small sigh, returning it back on the table and saying, "If there's anything else—" "That's all I get?" Paris asked. "You sending me away? No 'congratulations'? No 'I'm proud of you'? Nothing?' "Paris," Sebastian looked at him now. "I'm sure you can tell that I'm busy—" "I fucking did this for you!" Paris snapped, slamming his hand on the table. "I— I literally— Do you have any idea the things I did, to get here?" I stayed by her side. I worshipped her. I let her do whatever she wanted. I fell in love with her. And she can't even fucking remember any of that.

ALMS TO LOVE

ALMS TO LOVE

The last message on the screen—a single anonymous text—remained before the phone went dark: 'You can't stop what's already moving.' She breathed sharply and gazed forward. The roar of the engines grew, a low, steady drum. Outside, the world bleared into gray, then white as the plane started its climb. None of them said a word for a very long time. Through the window, Fiona saw Paris disappear under the clouds—a city of memories, laughter, and pain devoured by distance. Before her: Manila, a place of reckoning. And somewhere underneath those same clouds, in a penthouse still redolent of rain and secrets, Marie Drams sat in her robe, a glass of wine untouched on the table next to her, as a new

And I still appear to be younger than I really am. “Want to take a walk? Since you don't remember Paris,” he offers, gathering the newspaper he had dropped. He stands up, giving me the glimpse of his waistline. Although I am tempted to slide his sweatpants down, I get up, excited for our walk in PARIS! I put on the warmest and most comfortable thing I have and we go down to start our walk. Many people stare at us, smile and even wave. Realizing how people are walking in a hurry, drinking their coffee at the bakeries and their woolen caps on their heads makes me feel comfortable and almost, almost, reminds me of everything I had spent with Hunter here. But my dark cloud still hangs over my me

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

I Slapped My Fiancé—Then Married His Billionaire Nemesis

Still, I’d run it by him first. The afternoon drifted by pleasantly. Paris lived up to its reputation as the gourmet capital of Europe. Fabrizio picked a restaurant with zero Michelin stars, and I still ended up going back for seconds. Okay, fine. Thirds. Plus two slices of cake. The mille-feuille alone could make a grown woman weep. Which explained why I asked Fabrizio to drop me off a few blocks from the hotel. That, of course, meant offering an awkward explanation for why I’d moved out of the lovely, work-adjacent house he’d set up for me and into a hotel.

As up to now the book would be 3 Stars. It is declining severely. Dragging with baby stories that don’t add up to the story just for adding characters and taking our money. Definitely stopping. Huge dissapointnent. Good until chapter 380

This author is one of the best writers I have ever read! I love her discripted writings. She has captured the scenes' and characters' feelings with flair and accuracy. I hope to read other books by this author.

she commanded. Blackwood turned the tablet around. The headline was stark, black text on a white background. THE WOMAN HENRY CROSS DESTROYED: A MEMOIR. By Isabella Voss. Exclusive Excerpt: The Promise. Isabella read the words she had written in the dead of night, years ago, when the grief was fresh and the hate was still a sapling. The Hotel Ritz in Paris smells of beeswax and old money. It is a smell designed to make you forget that the world outside is dirty. Henry loved it. He loved anything that allowed him to pretend he was noble.

Touched by Forever

Touched by Forever

“You look pretty every day and don’t have to change a thing about yourself.” “Let’s go,’ Jenna chuckled, desperate to hide her blushing face from him. *** “Good morning. I am Paris and I was a student here a few weeks ago,” Paris introduced himself to the receptionist at the university. “A few weeks ago? More like a couple of months,” she chuckled. “What can I do for you, Mr. Leroy? Enrolling again?” “No. I got shot a few weeks ago and survived but have memory loss. It was only last night that students that go here recognized me. I am hoping to get info on myself?” Paris asked.

Accidental Surrogate For The Ruthless Billionaire

Accidental Surrogate For The Ruthless Billionaire

What made it hurt the most was that, I knew that Dante would never allow me to be away from him if he knew about the things that were happening. If he had his memory, Dante would never let me out of his sight, which was comfort enough for me. I knew for sure that his mind belonged to me, whenever he remembered me and our memories, he would definitely come looking for me. Paris wasn’t the city of lights and romance I’d read in books and watched in films, it was a city of stone and rain, of hurried footsteps on slick cobblestones and a language that swirled around me like a dense fog, isolating me in my own bubble of grief.

One Night Stand With Mr. President

One Night Stand With Mr. President

He wasn’t looking at anyone in particular, just staring into his glass, fingers slowly turning it in place. Still, for now, the room was warm with laughter. -- I placed my fork down gently on the edge of my plate, wiping the corners of my mouth with my napkin. I leaned slightly forward, eyes narrowing playfully as I looked across the table at Serena, who was still giggling from Raymond’s embarrassing sprinkler story. “Serena,” I said, tilting my head. “So... tell me. What’s Paris like?” She blinked, surprised. “Oh. Uh, Paris?” She smiled. “It’s magical, really. A little chaotic, but in a good way. Full of history, energy… people who think their coffee is superior to everyone else’s.”
