Plus, it was obvious he was still shaken by the accident. Perhaps it had not fully dawned on me yet that I’d just survived an accident that would have proven ghastly if not for the quick action of the driver in the second car, which was why I was acting so nonchalant about it. Whatever it was, it didn’t negate the fact that the accident had happened and sarcasm was an absolutely terrible idea right now.

I shook my head as I sat there and with everyone staring at me, waiting for an answer to Kasy’s condition to forgiving me. I never imagined that my life would turn out to be this way, I had never for once think that my once perfect life could turn out this way. I thought I was going to continue to live the way I was with Emily, I thought our love story would never end, I thought our happy life would always be there, but in just one night, everything went down the drain. It was just few hours to our wedding, we had only few hours left to one of the happiest day of our lives and just a month to Emily’s delivery date when the accident happened.
