Deven stood above me smirking confidently. I scrawled back up at him, my wolf itching to take control and bite the bastard's throat out. A rather fierce growl escaped me. It was packed with a level of overprotectiveness that could rival a mamma bears.
My surged forward. My scenes sharpening, picking up on every little thing around me: the rough bark on the trees, a near by creek running gently through the woods, and the thick scent of pine that hung in the forest. Deven became clearer too, and I kind wish he hadn't, as his figure reminded me of just what the difference between an omega and a normal wolf was.
