The Alpha's Apocalypse Sweet Queen

The Alpha's Apocalypse Sweet Queen

They were the apex predators of the new world: faster, stronger, and possessed of a commanding presence that could make a regular human’s heart stop just by standing in the same room. Yet, unlike the myths of old, the Orcs and Humans didn't turn on each other. Bound by the shared trauma of the "Gray" hordes, they became the ultimate allies. Humans provided the technical ingenuity, the scavenging precision, and the intricate medical knowledge of the old world, while the Beastkin provided the raw power, sensory heightening, and the sheer security needed to navigate the ruins. Together, they built the Citadels' fortified bastions of steel and hope. They joined hands to thwart the final conspira

Like the book but always find it a pity that stories on these apps end with rape & abuse victims forgiving and forgetting (basically: with a simple sorry and a few tears) what abusers did to them. She has lifelong trauma and probably Stockholm Syndrome but no actual justice for this poor girl.

Ok so this book is… SO GOOD! The writing is on point with very little errors. The storyline keeps you glued to the pages. The past to present is different, sometimes I just want a few chapters where it’s not going back and forth. I love the characters growth of Aislen, and now the boys. Must read!

Unexpected Romance

Unexpected Romance

Her reply wasn't what I sought for and she knew she failed me so she wasn't surprised when I angrily rose to my feet, heading to my room as tears brimmed my eyes and dropped freely. It all seemed hopeless. The Red Bone Pack were not normal wolves; they were lycans, a special breed created by dark magic. The witches of East Coven had made the first one, a mindless beast whose sole purpose was to protect them from their enemies. When the beast had gone rogue, he had attacked a wolf pack and had been captured, its blood extracted to be experimented on. Their Alpha had tested its blood on several wolves, creating a new breed of demonic wolves. Although they looked like wolves, their transformati

After Dark

After Dark

They lived in this huge bubble, not knowing – or caring – about people like us. My own life felt like two separate books. One was Maeve Briggs, high school senior, trying to keep up her grades and pretend everything was normal. The other was "Eve," the girl with the dark wig and fake ID, dancing on a small stage downtown. That was the book I kept hidden, guarded with my life. It was a secret I'd die before anyone found out. Especially Mom. And Jasper. And Nova, my best friend, who thought my nights were spent studying or binge watching shows.

The Family Survival Fund and Apocalypse Revenge

The Family Survival Fund and Apocalypse Revenge

I began to read and to train my body. Immersed in the ocean of knowledge, my heart grew fuller and calmer than it had ever been. A strong, healthy body was the greatest asset for enduring this long apocalypse. Occasionally, I would access the global surveillance network to glimpse the world being scorched by heatwaves. The traces of civilization were being erased at breathtaking speed. Skyscrapers grew brittle and collapsed under the relentless heat. Forests turned to scorched earth. The oceans evaporated, revealing jagged seabeds and countless skeletal remains of once-living creatures.

Crimson Love

Crimson Love

Electric lamps illuminated quiet walkways, while children laughed in distant courtyards, unaware of the monsters that ruled the world beyond their borders. To them. The apocalypse was a story. To those who governed this place. It was a memory they refused to repeat. At the heart of the settlement stood the Council Citadel. Its towering white walls overlooked the entire city, its architecture untouched by war. Marble columns rose toward a vaulted ceiling where intricate murals depicted humanity's rise, its fall, and the solemn vow to preserve what remained.

he interrupted. “Stop following me Jax,” I commanded establishing my authority changing the conversation because at the end of the day he was just a massive fan of mine. “No, I want recommendations on books, preferably the slow burns with two people trying to fight their connection when they were soulmates from the moment they met but they were blind.” I know what he was doing. He was trying to describe our romance but ours was a tragedy, not a romance in my books anyway. I huffed annoyed and played his game, by saying “I would recommend Birthday Girl by Penelo-“

Frequently Asked Questions

As a die-hard fan of post-apocalyptic stories with a romantic twist, I can't help but gush about 'The Stand' by Stephen King. It's a massive, sprawling epic where love blooms amidst chaos, and the characters feel so real you’ll root for them like friends. Another favorite is 'Warm Bodies' by Isaac Marion, a zombie romance that’s surprisingly heartfelt and poetic. It turns the genre on its head with its tender take on love reviving humanity.

For something more intimate, 'The Road' by Cormac McCarthy has a hauntingly beautiful undercurrent of love between a father and son, though it’s bleak. If you prefer action-packed romance, 'Swan Song' by Robert McCammon weaves love into survival in a way that’s raw and gripping. And don’t overlook 'The Passage' by Justin Cronin—its centuries-spanning saga includes a love story that’s both tragic and hopeful. These books prove love doesn’t just survive the apocalypse; it defines it.
