The Apocalyptic Heatwave

The Apocalyptic Heatwave

That was also why our security was the best in the whole city. I only found out in my last life that, after the world was hit by the deadly heatwave, a lot of desperate people showed up. In the apocalypse, humanity meant little. Everyone answered only to themselves. But our community was the only one that never got attacked by any looters, all thanks to the top-notch security forces here. It stayed safe until the scientists finally managed to build weather bombs strong enough to fight off the deadly heat, and the heatwave finally ended. Everyone in our community survived.

Ravens of Eternity

Ravens of Eternity

Not only that, but the setting will be post-apocalyptic, where the survivors have varying degrees of psychic powers. Most people will have low-level abilities, such as telepathy and empathy. Some will have incredible powers able to manipulate the physical world with their minds, such as telekinesis and precognition. A handful will be able to literally warp what’s real with a thought (sometimes carelessly). The novel will explore similar themes of power and corruption, but mostly fresh ones regarding reality and perception. Specifically, the differences between natural reality vs manufactured reality, and truth vs disinformation. Kinda like what we’re seeing politically across the globe.

By the title itself, it was already something that would hook anyone immediately. And after reading a few chapters, indeed it was great. I really love reborn books/novels and I am not disappointed one bit at all! Love the Mc by the way.

Reluctant Companion: Futuristic Dark Romance

Reluctant Companion: Futuristic Dark Romance

“You’re welcome, but for what?” “Everything.” That, along with the deeper kiss he pressed to her lips, was answer enough. ****** Author’s Notes I love futuristic, post-apocalyptic, and/or dystopian fiction. I wouldn’t want to live it, of course, but it’s fun to imagine how bad things could get, and how good people would function in the aftermath. In this book, I also explored a bit how harsh times make even good people do some questionable things. Can you forgive a good character if he (or she) does something morally ambiguous for the ones they love? I like complex characters and questions like that. I hope I gave a modicum of competency to exploring the idea.

Warehouse of the Apocalypse

Warehouse of the Apocalypse

I didn’t expect the patch to come so soon. In the second month after the battle, the rooftop radio suddenly crackled to life with a crisp broadcast voice. "The Atlas Geothermal Initiative is now active. Surface temperatures will gradually recover. Rescue is on the way." Rhys and I just stared at each other. So this wasn’t a solo survival game after all. It was online, and the admins had finally logged in. A week later, a military helicopter landed in the open lot. Registration and verification went quickly. The officer in charge clapped me on the shoulder. "Turning the apocalypse into a warehouse operation! You’re one of a kind."

She was trying to reach her, but her bas**** ex was holding her, keeping her from using water ability to save her. When the meteorites scattered across the globe, some people developed abilities almost the same time the undead appeared. The sky was bright red, explosions, screams in every direction. Chills crawl on her back, recalling what would happen a year from now. Her revenge for every suffering will be done slowly because preparing for the approaching apocalypse matters more. In the future, food and water will be scarce. Guns will be more valuable than gold and jades. There will be safe military and clan bases emerging but still needed some points from working and trading for food.

The Pinnacle of Life

The Pinnacle of Life

Meanwhile, Esmeralda and Agatha followed by their side. “France is no longer the country of romance as it used to be.” Dorothy sighed lightly. What came into sight were the signs of ruin everywhere. Domestic garbage, tramps in tattered clothes on the streets, smashed doors of stores, crashed vehicles, and burned-out buildings were everywhere... Various signs showed that this was a post-apocalyptic place. After the powerhouses of the universe entered Earth, many people did not go to America. Instead, they had been searching for opportunities all over the world. Those people were reckless and did whatever they wanted abroad. In their eyes, the local regime was an existence that they could crus

i thought he'd be successful going and dominating the chi universe after obtaining the fiend lord's memories and start story with Zendaya... it would have been better if the diffracted universe had not been destroyed and he finally gets to live a peaceful life after all these........ But I loved it.

Apocalypse: Rebirth With An Infinite Storage System

Apocalypse: Rebirth With An Infinite Storage System

“I already told all of you to build your own house anyway, which I believe you’ll begin soon enough. So why not join my team instead?” Her tone became colder and more serious. “Let’s conquer the apocalypse together.” The room fell silent again. “In the future,” Ivy continued slowly, “there will be a complete collapse of order. Independent bases will rise everywhere, each led by powerful individuals. Only the strong will survive.” Her sharp gaze swept across every member present. “Bases will eventually start fighting each other for resources, territory, weapons, and food. They’ll attack one another simply to dominate. Large organizations will create the illusion of safety, but in reality, man

The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

Old systems collapsed, and while some groups tried to patch things back together, the currents of this new era were way too big for them to steer. New bases or camps rose everywhere. A camp-based civilization was becoming the norm. Anyone trying to bring back the old pre-apocalypse order was just stuck in the past. So nobody should expect the apocalypse to end. That would be a pipe dream. Things would only go back to normal when the virus was totally gone, if that was even possible. The future would be built around bases, and glory would only revolve around camps. Hayley knew they were just small fries back at Base K1, the kind the base wouldn't bother sending rescue teams for. They weren't

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

Frequently Asked Questions

If you like your apocalypse with a heavy dose of cyberpunk and body horror, 'The Windup Girl' by Paolo Bacigalupi is essential. Set in a future Bangkok after fossil fuels have been depleted and climate change has ravaged the world, it features bio-engineered plagues, calorie-based economies run by agri-corporations, and 'New People'—genetically modified beings treated as property.

The world is dense, sweaty, and brilliantly realized. It's a story about exploitation, resilience, and adaptation at the end of the age of oil. The tension between the Thai kingdom's traditionalists and the relentless corporate 'calorie men' is gripping. It's a challenging, immersive read that feels terrifyingly plausible.
