Novel & Cerita Pride And Prejudice Special Edition

I felt like a princess in the dress Easton had sent me, it spoke of luxury and was easily the best dress in the room. “You’re a beauty to behold, Imelda.” Easton said, looking marveled by me. It felt good being praised, something my old self was starved of. I was doing this for her, she deserved a better life. “Thank you, I love this dress.” I told him, blushing. “What about my offer?” He asked, refusing a drink offer from a waiter. “Um..” I stalled, looking around and suddenly I caught sight of Gabriel approaching with a beautiful tall blonde lady in a black exquisite dress, they were walking hand in hand and gave the picture of a powerful couple.

I pulled a chair for her and she blushed as she got settled in. “Thank you,” she murmured. I opened the wine bottle and poured for both of us. “So, about that thing that I did that rubbed you off the wrong way?” I gently prompted. If it were up to me, I would have just kept her talking the entire night. Because the sound of her voice, sure calmed multiple storms inside my hard exterior. How careful yet provoking she was with her thoughts and words, heightened my fascination with her. “You, Sir, were rude on the phone. When I asked if there was a way I could make it up to you,” She stated. And by the look on her face, I could tell just how clearly I had royally pissed her off with my actions.

The harsh reality of my life flashed before my eyes. **************************************** I took my time to explore the magnificent mansion. There was an in house pool, jacuzzi, and a huge library. I wondered what he needed the library for. A garden area where I immediately felt relaxed. The mansion had high security as it was heavily guarded by CCTV cameras and bodyguards. Being famous and wealthy means he was always prone to attack from his competitors and enemies. "He is a good person," Martha said out of the blue. We were currently in the huge kitchen supervising other maids running around while preparing dinner.

There were exactly 113 things she’d rather be doing than fix up His Royal Dumbass’s life. Drinking wine. Calling her sisters. Helping with Sutton’s upcoming wedding. Rewatching Pride and Prejudice, the 1995 mini-series, obviously, because Colin Firth was seriously fucking hot. He could get himself into her bed any day. He might be in his sixties, but he was one of those men who got better with age. Plus, there were the rumors about his sex life… yes, please.

I did not shrink my shoulders or hide behind an oversized cardigan. I took a deep, steady breath, feeling the firm fabric of my tailored suit jacket against my back. For the first time since Ashford Heights, I let myself feel proud without immediately apologizing for it. I had worked through the dark nights, survived constant sabotage, faced down my fear, and built something real with my own hands. Ethan came out of his corner office wearing a sharp charcoal suit. He walked past my desk, holding a black leather folder. He paused for just a second as our eyes met. He did not say anything out loud in front of the office, but a small, warm nod passed between us. His eyes were steady and calm.

That's bad. "What concept is that exactly, Lady Charleston?" she asked in an English accent as she arched a brow surprised. She knew how much I hated reading. "Well, for 'Pride and Prejudice', Elizabeth Bennett refused to let go of her preconceived notions of Mr Darcy. Mr Darcy on the other hand, was too prejudiced against those of the lower status. Undoubtedly both of them had numerous character flaws. Elizabeth was too proud, lacked manners and Darcy was immersed in the division between factions, the rich and the poor. He thought everyone was after his money and couldn't see past that fact."

"Of course." "What? It's a classic." "It's also the most predictable answer you could have given." "Fine. What's yours?" "Pride and Prejudice." His eyebrows shot up. "The one with the British people and the fancy dresses?" "It's a romance, Connelly. Don't act so shocked." "I'm not shocked. I'm just..." He grinned. "Actually, I'm not surprised at all. You probably relate to Elizabeth Bennet." "Why? Because she's stubborn and sarcastic?"

By the time we get back to my place, I’m so horny I nearly rip my dress off. The next day, he takes me to an old bookstore that has been run by the same owner for over sixty years. She refuses to alphabetize anything, but when Damien asks her for a specific book, she knows exactly where it is. It’s cramped and crowded, full of volumes of rare old books and gorgeous hardback covers. Damien buys sme a copy of Pride and Prejudice in French.

Inside it is a box, I lift the lid off of the box to reveal a collection of books with titles I instantly recognise. "Jane Austen's books, all first editions" Rhode tells me softly as I pull my hand back away from the covers, just as I was about to touch them. I can't believe it, I can't believe they're just here in front of me, just sitting in my lap. "No way" I gasp quietly and look up at him in disbelief. These must have cost him a fortune, on top of being nearly impossible to track down. Tears are immediately springing to my eyes, a very regular occurrence for me these days.

The princess is worthless and is not considered by the Cannor family. "Ananda Albara Demian Dominic bin Nicholas Dominic. I marry you and I marry you to Ainayya Hikari Salvina bint Javior Jeon Cannor with a set of prayer tools. Cash!" said the judge. Javior deliberately didn't want to say goodbye because for him Nayya was nothing. And Nayya also has no right to get such a noble right from him. To him only Pavina deserves such privilege. Father failed. "I accept the marriage and the marriage of Ainayya Hikari Salvina bint Javior Jeon Cannor with the dowry paid in cash."
