Lifting the bitch from the ground and assuming my true form with horns and all, I snarled close to her face, "What did I say would happen when I see you face to face, witch?" She croaked and fear flashed in her eyes for about a second and then she grinned, "Why are you so mad, Lycan prince? Is it because I bested you and succeeded in making a fool of you? I know your type. Your pride and arrogance are as big as the sky. You can not bare to think a mere mortal like me could outwit you! Fucking bastard!" she spat and I caught her hand movement as she tried to conjure something to use against me and I let her since it appeared she was a moron.

The silver-eyed praised as he set the book down and turned to the purple-eyed woman trembling with curiousity beside him. "Cliff End plans to put into vote recognizing White Pearl as an official pack during the meeting." He explained and Helena's nose scrunched up at the news. "You're against it?" Allistor questioned with a raised eyebrow. "Of course I am. White Pearl is a settlement of rogues and shifters who have committed questionable acts and while I believe in repentance and forgiveness, it's too risky to give them the power that being officially recognized as a pack will." She ranted, passionately a frown on her face at the thought of someone trying to push for such a thing.

"Yes." "She is not fighting. She is directing." "Yes." "She is the reason the wolves won." I stared at the mural and my hands were shaking. "She is the reason the witches lost." "The witches?" "She betrayed them. She turned on them. She led the wolves to their hiding places and watched them burn." Kade's face was pale. "Who is she?" "I do not know." "She looks like Cressida." "She is not Cressida." "Then who is she?"

She asked and I stilled. "Why will I reject you, you're my mate." I said and she sighed. "Oh." She replied. "Alpha, I'm back." Aren said and I stood up. "I'll be with you soon." I told her leaving to meet Aren outside. Our hacker and computer operator found information about others easily. "What did you find?" I asked. "She's kinda a rogue, but not really." Aren replied. "Explain." I said. "She was the daughter of the former beta of the Crescent pack, her pack was overthrown and they had a new alpha named Alpha Rick, the alpha that has been really disturbing at times to us." He said and I swallowed, wondering what he did to her.
