“You think I’m falling apart. That is why you want me to be close.” Evelyn’s expression softened. “I think you’re holding yourself together with nothing but willpower. And I know that can only last so long. I want you to be close, and it her right to grow within her father’s home. She is the daughter of the Alpha, and I think you know what that means, Sienna.”

“That was my mother's.” “I have nothing left,” I said, my voice gone so hoarse I barely knew it. “No pack, no mother, no home. This is all that's left.” “Please.” I, Elara Hale, the proudest little princess Silver Mane had, said please. Cain's pupils contracted. His fingers loosened on the edge of the table, his body leaning slightly forward. “Since it's your mother's keepsake…” Seraphine arched a brow. “Cain, that pendant is a fake.”

I nodded, turning my attention to the ladies. “Once again, I would like to thank you for your services.” I said before heading out. I paused, placing a hand on my stomach, closing my eyes. You are Adelaide Silverstone, daughter of Charles and Rose Silverstone. Alpha Prime of the European continent. You will not be intimidated by anyone. I repeated the mantra over and over until I felt the wave of nerves disappear. I pulled my shoulders back, straightened my spine and made my way downstairs.

"I'm strong enough. You know I am, Eleanor." I look at my younger sister and feel my heart clench with both pride and terror. Her face is set with the kind of stubborn resolve is see often on Billy’s face. Eleanor's expression softens as she regards her apprentice, and a gentle smile crosses her features. "As the new Primarch, of course you're strong enough, dear." Emerald's eyes brighten with hope, but I can see Eleanor isn't finished.

We were almost to the tunnel when heels clicked loudly on the stone. Everyone stopped. Selene walked out of the shadows as if she had been waiting for her cue. Dressed in black, red lips and perfectly styled hair looking like poison in heels. She stopped a few feet away and smiled at the elders. “Before you all rush to crown my dear half sister,” she said, voice sweet and sharp, “there is something you should know.” She held up a rolled parchment sealed with the same wolf crest as the summons letter. “I carry the Primaria mark too,” she announced. “Stronger, and older. Our mother was the true heir. Raven is the bastard and I am the real First Omega.”

"That's the spirit newbie..." "But first I need to earn twelve grands as fast as I can..." "Do you have to earn it?" Piper asks and I gape at her. "Of course, how else am I gonna get it" "Bella you sure as hell didn't do your introductions right" Piper glares playfully at Bella and she laughs. "Oh... It is my pleasure to introduce you to Pipet Wilder, daughter of Senator Wilder and sister to Shane Wilder, CEO of Wilder jeweleries.

Chandler as he said this and he gave me a wink. This seemed excusable enough to the Alpha who didn't make another reference to their presence. "My name is Alpha Superior Deveraux," He said to my father, bwho only nodded in acknowledgment. He turned to me, "And Adam to you, love." "Evelyn," I said, offering my hand. He took my hand and kissed the back of it. I had been going for a handshake there, buddy, but okay, I thought. I wasn't looking at Vega, but I could see the stupid smile on her face without having to look at her. I knew her too well and she was probably about to wet her pants.

Atticus asked in disbelief. “Yes, she is the librarian back at the boarding school, but why is she here? Is she my surprise? Because I’m definitely surprised now, I said in a high pitched voice, very emotional for this encounter. “Viviane, her name is Minerva Greenway, former Luna of the Greenway Pack and my mother.”
