Wolfbane

Wolfbane

My mother screamed—the correct reaction. “What the fuck?” Sara, my sister, gasped as she walked into the room and squatted next to our father. A large puddle of blood had formed by his face, seeping out from his mouth and nostrils. She pulled a dart out of his arm and smelled it. “Wolfsbane,” she said. “How ironic,” I responded. “What?” She looked at me, confusion on her face. “Well, it was his idea to use wolfsbane darts in battle. It’s pretty ironic that that’s how he dies in the end, eh?”

he gave me a purple coloured fruit. " Thank you" I said as I ate the fruit, it was cold in my mouth " hmmmm it's delicious" "What's this one called?" I asked " It's called Cula friut" he replied. " I love it, I love them all apart from the red fruit I ate earlier" I said I could still feel the bitter taste on my tongue. Prince Liam laughed holding his stomach. It was the first time he was laughing and he looked more like Master Derek. " The Rodar friut , it's a medicinal friut. We usually give it to people who are in pains or in coma" he said and then something clicked on my mind.

Alex asked, poking a metal fork at one. "A- yes ma'am." Alex scrunched her nose in disgust. She knew it. "What's this then?" She tipped the glass of pink stuff towards him. "That's rooart. It's made from fermented moss." "It's not too bad," she said, taking a generous sip. Weylin looked away. "How old are you?" she asked in between roars of excitement from the crowd. "Seventeen cycles, ma'am." "Call me Alex, not ma'am. It makes me feel old."

The Private Room The first section of the floor was everything dedicated to paintings, statues, and sculptures, as well as erotic films being projected onto one of the walls. Cordelia walked ahead of me, towards two big French doors, and pulled both of them open. The second section was a much more private setting. The main event. Anything that was wood, was a dark walnut, similar to Mr. Thompson's office. The walls were painted an opaque cherry color as well as all of the furniture details following suit with even darker shades of red. The room smelt reminiscent of Cordelia's scent—rose, leather, musk, with a trace of mint. A clean essence. Rich sex. There were a bunch of different furnishin

Mary cut in, raising an eyebrow. "Em, when's the last time you did anything fun?" I opened my mouth to argue, but the words died on my lips. When was the last time? Between the endless reports, the late nights, and the constant pressure to prove myself in a sea of male engineers, fun had become a foreign concept. "That's what I thought," Mary said, her voice softening. "Come on, there's this new club opening tonight. Club Enigma. Very exclusive, very mysterious. I managed to snag us some tickets."

Pulse: [A Mafia Romance]

Pulse: [A Mafia Romance]

Blood mixed with saliva pooled at his lips and dribbled down his jaw from either side of his thin, pale lips, sloshing down to the dragon tattoo on his wiry neck that indicated his bratva. A brief gurgling sound came from the back of his throat before a spurt of blood-tinged spittle flew out of his mouth, landing near my boots. My fingers momentarily tightened around the hand of the glock I held at my side. "I can't," he grounded out weakly, glaring at me, "I can't tell you that."

Pandora

Pandora Being named after the one woman who unleashed the darkness and evil beings into our world just simply opening a box has never been easy, especially when I need to meet new people. They hesitate to talk to me and even look at me or towards me. I've heard rumors that I'm a witch's hybrid with a wolf, that I was cursed when I was born, and even that I was cursed because I tried to seduce the mate of a powerful witch, but none of this is true, and it also makes no sense, I never crossed the boundaries of the lands of the pack. The Pup's Midnight Vampire

The Pup's Midnight Vampire

~Aurora’s Point of View~ ~Present~ “Vampire stuff is the messiest stuff. Always drama, fighting. I was really counting on an easy life, none of them were supposed to wake on my watch and since we have only the three tombs and they were all full, I didn’t think we’d get anymore. What a fucking mess,” Alpha Killian shouts, slamming his fist on the table and making me jump. Two others in the room do as well.

He didn’t like how frightened she looked when he was angry, so he stood up and decided to go check on Kimberly, even though he was sure she was fine now that Christine was here, when his phone suddenly rang making him groan. “Hello?” he said, sounding a bit irritated. “A-alpha, I’m sorry to disturb you but we’ve got a problem.” His beta, Elijah apologized as he realized that his call had somehow upset his alpha. “What is it?” he asked, now in a calm voice. “We found five dead bodies at the cabin on our border. They were all humans… Alpha, the council has called for a meeting and your presence is needed.” “And why is that?” “They say the p-pack is growing w-weak.” Elijah stuttered.

For a moment, he just stood there with furrowed brows, his orbs fixed on the cover. “Zombies are Real?” he read, tapping his fingers on the book. Taking a deep breath, he averted his gaze to the books seated next to them. Using his free hand, he grabbed one. “Supernatural Being.” With his lips curled, he scanned them from back-to-front cover. Immediately after, his mind drifted without prior warning. Something about the titles probed his guts. He just didn’t know what. Should he believe these zombies and supernatural beings were true? If not, how could he explain what he’d seen the night before?
