How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

she said, waving her hand like she was telling me not to come to her aid, which I wasn’t. I still had hold of Evand. He was too stunned to put up any resistance, his attention purely on whatever the Queen was turning into. So far, the smoke had revealed very little other than size, but it made Gargantua, the biggest monster we’d encountered to date, look like a toddler. I dragged Evand over to Claire and then pushed him down on his back so he had to look at me leaning over him. “What’s your true relationship to the Queen?” I asked him. He was still trying to look past me so I shook him vigorously. “Tell me.”

The Queen's Pawns

The Queen's Pawns

She only sat there looking like a paralyzed person. Dev raised her hand and saw Hellion’s eyes turning dimmer and dimmer as the person seems to had lost her life. “My Queen?” Dev called out however, she didn’t get any response from her. Hellion’s eyes grew empty as the blue orbs became soulless. Her head drooped as the bowl crashed into the floor. “Your Highness!” Mir and Yef suddenly called out as they panic towards her. Dev surveyed the room as an invisible aura began to envelope the whole area.

Alpha’s Bewitching Regret

Alpha’s Bewitching Regret

Levy didn’t know why she was being haunted by these dreams but as she remembered the last page that was torn from her mother’s diary, she couldn’t help but want to know more about what this charlatan thing was, so she looked around the room and made sure that no one was present, she raised her feet to walk closer to the woman on the rocking chair but then—— The door on her left was pushed open and Levy was glad that she couldn’t gasp out loud because the woman, the one who called herself ‘Queen’ walked inside the room, she was still wearing that weird masquerade mask on her face with distinct cravings on it, her eyes covered by a black cloth making it impossible for Levy to see her face at a

I've never written any rewiev before, but now i must write one. i adore this book, a must read. The characters are amazing, they are improving, not just the mains, even some of the side characters also. The story is chilling, exciting, bewitching together. Thanks to the author ... ...

it's a great book so far and I can't wait to see how it ends. There are some grammar corrections that need to be made but they are not to where you can't understand the book. the book is quite long and it's the second longest book that I've read. I was disappointed that a couple of chapters are

I mean I don't think I am asking anything to drastic. "Please make yourself invisible while we are out especially on campus. I don't really want to answer questions about why you are following me around like some lost puppy dog." He let out a loud laugh and then smiled at me. "I think I can manage that but just so you know technically I am enrolled in all the same classes as you. So I will be in your classes but I'm sure we can manage to make it look innocent enough." I laughed now. Of course Damion made him enroll to.

The Reluctant Queen

The Reluctant Queen

My lungs were screaming. “Listen, if you’re going to be my mate, you’re going to have to talk to me. Unless you’re mute. A mute queen would pose an interesting challenge.” I’m not mute, I’m dying! “Honestly, this is ridiculous. How about your name? I’ll start. I’m Trick, Vampire King. And you are? Listen, I need to know what to call my queen.” Queen? It was the last word I heard before I lost consciousness.

A Queen Among Darkness

A Queen Among Darkness

All I can do is nod in response to her question. The 6'3" man is leaning against the wall in a pristine metallic violet suit so tightly fitted it doesn’t look like it could be comfortable. He’s wearing a white button-down shirt underneath with the sleeves just peeking through the sleeves of his suit jacket. The shirt is so perfectly white and fresh that it makes the colour of the suit and the metallic royal blue of his tie stand out and compliment his chocolate brown skin. His black hair is shaved close to his head leaving virtually no length, and his beard is only a centimetre longer than the hair on his head. Everything about him is immaculate. There’s not even a speck of dirt on his shiny

This is by far my favorite book in this entire series. Not every author can write a same-sex relationship and make it so layered and nuanced instead of "corny". A.D. Burnell is a Queen Among Authors, and I can't wait until they get thr recognition they so thoroughly deserve.

One of the things i love about this series is that you think you know everything, and then you start the next book and so many layers are peeled back that blow your mind. it makes this the most addictive series ever

Alpha's Regret: Reclaiming his Whisperer Luna

Utterly baffled by this occurrence, I grabbed Zayden’s arm, his condition wasn’t different from mine. “An invisible man is ordering me around for quite some time, Helena. He said that he will reveal his face in front of you.” This stealth method didn’t sit well with my impatient nature, I spoke sternly. “As you can see, we don’t have limitless time to play such types of games. So, please cut to the chase and state your purpose for this surprise visit.” A silhouette of a tall man appeared in front of us, slowly taking the shape of a human. He was dressed in an ancient dress, his amused tone resounded in my ears.

Artfully written and so well crafted. The plot is engaging which keeps one hooked and rushing to the next chapter. I love Helena's spirit and the way she handles tough situations. I so very much hope she never returns to that Zayden ever again. Great work author wishing more success to you.

Definitely a read. This book left me with so many emotions. Crying to yelling at the characters in this book. Clearly this writer found their calling when becoming an author. About to start reading some of their other works now. Good job on this one though.

Lost Queen

But when they tried again it easily gave way. The room was dark. I couldn’t remember if I turned the lights off the other day, or if I even closed the blinds. But something told me they were both open. It didn’t explain why the fuck it was closed now though. One of the men moved forward. He doesn’t get in though I see him keep trying to move an invisible wall. If I was trying to tell myself it wasn’t magic, which I wasn’t, then that just proves that it is. Two more of my men tried going in but the same thing happened. They all gave up and had already started taking plans of going in through the window. So they could see for themselves if it affected it too.
