Love and Shadows
I know that she has more than one and that another gun could be pointing right at me, ready to blow my head off any moment, but I find myself simply smiling.
"I can't anymore," I tell her. "Everything around me—it's all my fault."
She doesn't seem to understand what I'm saying at all, but she walks towards me and holds my shoulders, looking straight into my eyes. "I never thought you to be one to even consider suicide," she tells me.
I laugh a little. "No, it's not suicide if you are the one doing it. That's why it's not that cowardly."
"But it is," she tells me. "It's pretty much suicide, and it's obviously tasteless to talk about it."
