Bride of the Dead Heir

Bride of the Dead Heir

Max moved quietly into the bathroom, turned on the shower, and soaked himself from head to toe. By the time he stepped out, he looked exactly like he had the night he drowned. He pulled out three small parchment charms. He pressed them between his fingers and muttered under his breath. "Rise." The air shifted. In the next second, three identical versions of Max stood side by side in front of me. They had the same "rotting" face, and even the droplets sliding off their hair fell in perfect sync.

Confessions Of An Exorcist

He replied while looking around the house “Till death took away my joy” “I didn’t come to hear your story, save it for your fellow human” he said looking at her daughter’s picture “Then why are you here?” He throws an old brown pouch at her “Inside is how to call up the dead. I believe the town will love the show” Jessica opens the bag and inside is a small bottle and an old dirty beat up scroll—inside the bottle is a drop of blood and written in the scroll are chants to raise the dead

I have to say, this is an excellent read, right from the first chapter it just grasps you. I know it isn't comedy but the choice of words just had me giggling. I just know it's about to get intense. If you're wandering whether to read it or not, take it from me, you must! You won't regret it!

I love the dark part of this story. It's touchy and realistic. Even though I just read the first chapter, I felt every meaningful touch and idea the author wanted to pass through. I'm so impressed and I definitely love this. Keep it up, writer.

“I know but I also know I’m not wrong.” She explained that Cohen’s mating bond was reconstructing in his mind, the white roses appeared on Mira’s grave and the unnamed tombstone. When someone was resurrected from the dead, white roses was the first sign of such an event because white roses were the sign of a new start. Resurrecting a dead person also meant it was a new start for that person.

Little Dead Red

Little Dead Red

CHAPTER SIX They held a funeral for the bits and pieces of Aleta they could find. It wasn’t much. Marie chose to have her cremated and then there was even less. She kept her in a jar in the living room. She had always believed in burial, but had dreams of wolves digging Aleta’s bones up at night, gnawing on them and taking them away off to some dark magical forest. Night after night. So in the jar she went, and the jar was placed high, and when her mother died she cremated her as well and set them side-by-side.

she lengthily narrated to me. So that’s how a resurrection spell works. A life for a life. You need life as sacrifice to bring back dead to life again. Raise the dead and you will never know what you raise. These are the words I remember when I accidentally read the book that was in Mother Arianna’s room back then.

Revived From the Dead

Revived From the Dead

While stroking the ice-cold gravestone with tears streaming down my face, I said, "Come back to me and be my child in your next life, okay?" Zachary kept me company during my unborn child's burial. Then, he brought me home. Peter was crouched at my door, waiting for us. I rolled my eyes at him. I questioned, "What are you doing here?" He fell to his knees and begged, "Let's talk in private. I won't bother you anymore moving forward." Helplessly, I pointed toward a café some distance away and said, "Let's go there." Peter fixed his eyes on me as I drank my cup of coffee. He remained silent.

I asked. She looked at me like she feared the answer herself. “They said they needed it for a ritual.” I reached into my bag and pulled out food and water, handing it to her. She took it with shaking hands and devoured it like she hadn’t eaten in days. “What kind of ritual?” I asked softly. She gulped down the last of the water and wiped her mouth. “An awakening ritual,” she said. “To raise the dead.” My breath hitched. She went on quickly, as if afraid she’d lose the nerve. “They talked a lot. They said the woman buried there was special.”

she asked as Ruth poured her a cup of tea. "People do it all the time, we won't be the first?" Cassandra commented "Cassandra, we are not talking about the movie. This is real life," Mrs Brown raised "Yeah, we will be fine, miracles happen," Cassandra said with a smile "Look at it this way, according to the holy book, Jesus died and rose again from the dead and there was another man, Lazilus?" she said and raised an eyebrow trying to recall the name "Close enough. That is what happens when you do go to church or read your Bible. I believe you are talking about Lazarus," Ruth corrected

Dead and Gone: No, Not Really

Dead and Gone: No, Not Really

On that day, Mom lay over me and cried bitterly. The nurse took pity on her and tried to comfort her. No one suspected that they were the ones who had killed me, bloodlessly. To the outsiders, they were such a good family. It was only after I died that I finally got the love and care that I'd wished for my whole life. "What does Yvette like to eat?" Dad asked blankly. There was a pile of snacks beside my urn, the kind that they never allowed me to eat when I was alive. There was also a lot of delicious food, including Yvonne's favorite shrimp cocktail.

Playing Dead and Breaking the Don-To-Be

My heart sank, and I instinctively tried to step away, but he was already striding toward me. "Ella!" he shouted, his voice cutting through the chatter. "It's really you! You're not dead!" Everyone around turned to look. Their gazes were full of curiosity and scrutiny. I took a deep breath, forcing myself to calm down. "Signor, you've got the wrong person," I said coldly. "I'm Luna Kane, not Ella." "Wrong person?" Vincenzo laughed. His voice dripped with madness. "You can change your name, your hair, everything, but I know you. I'll never forget your eyes, your nose, and the corner of your mouth."
