I was filled with happiness as I eagerly anticipated that day. So, I spent my birthday waiting for him. I waited until the food was long past cold before I saw Zachary and Juliana approaching together beneath the streetlight. I noticed that the way he looked at her was filled with tenderness and warmth—something I had never seen before. But ambition isn’t why her name is in my speculative section. It’s the way she watches Zana. Most people look at Zana with either open hostility, fascination, or that annoyed kind of attention people give someone they claim not to care about but can’t stop staring at. Rhea doesn’t do that. She watches Zana like she’s studying her. Patiently. Carefully. Almost scientifically. Like Zana is a question and Rhea is working toward an answer. I noticed it during Rhea’s first week. Third-Person POV Dawn spent the next few days in a depressive stupor. Her closest friends suggested that she begin planning a funeral for Shane and argued that even if his body was never recovered, they could hold it using some of his personal belongings and clothes. But Dawn rejected every suggestion. She was stubbornly convinced that Shane wasn't dead. Soon, everyone around her began to think she had lost her mind. Day after day, Dawn locked herself in the apartment and forced herself to look at old photographs of her and Shane on a loop.

They're not laughing or holding hands. They're just standing there, watching and waiting.

After a while, Anika came out, drying her long hair with a towel. Anika frowned, her eyes narrowed, and her lips slowly stretched when she saw what her girlfriend was watching. "Babe. There seemed to be a flash in the part where the water coming from the fountain was flowing vigorously. "Wow. It's so beautiful." I said while looking in front of me. "Indeed beautiful." I turned to Zero who was now looking at me. I smiled and stared into his eyes for a moment. It seemed to suck me in and a lot of emotions were hidden in his eyes. I wanted to read what he was thinking but I couldn’t, I didn’t know why. "By the way." He said and averted his eyes. "Looks like I won't be able to watch your first practice tomorrow." He says.
