Novel & Cerita Reading Bl

The same book I had tried to read before, the one with blank pages. "The Luna's Gift: Understanding Your True Power," Beatrice read from the cover. "Your mother left this for you specifically." "I tried reading it before," I said. "The pages were blank." "Because you weren't ready to see what was written there," Beatrice said, bringing it to me. "But perhaps now..." I took the book with trembling hands and opened it. This time, words appeared on the pages, coming into existence like they had been waiting for this exact moment.

River's fingers danced across the spines, devouring titles that whispered promises of resilience and courage. "The Blind Voyager", "The Lame Warrior's Triumph", "Against All Odds", and "Unlikely Heroes" each resonated deeply, but one title in particular caught her eye: "The Story of Alero, Blind Healer". With gentle reverence, River pulled out the slim volume, its cover adorned with intricate, raised patterns that evoked the delicate petals of a flower. The book did not come out alone, it came with another document: a large parchment like the one in her dream!

The day was pretty slow, we had our first lessons so we were just busy studying, nothing fun going on. Lunch break came and again, the four of us were at the picnic table outside. Blake is reading a book while eating his lunch, I can’t help but stare. I’ve always loved how he is so focused on studying. He’s the type of guy who knows exactly what he wants in the future, and he has plans on how he can get to the life of his dreams. I find it really attractive when someone has a clear goal in life.

Blake seemed to notice the book in my hand for the first time. "How many times has she read it already?" He asked Molly, closing his textbook probably deciding he was not going to get any reading done anyways. Between the two girls in front of him, studying was just a waste of time. "I can't even count how many times. She's read it so much, she could say the lines off her head," Molly rattled, like an asshole and I glared at her but as usual, she smiled oblivious to my dirty look. That girl was so cheery and bright, it made dreary days unhappy. She was right though, I could say all the lines off hand, not that she needed to prattle that off to Blake.

Dan said, and I nodded. Soon after, we got to section B-2, and Beta Dan started pulling out some books. “I believe these ones are more likely to have what you’re looking for,” he said, handing me a book and another while he himself kept busy studying a page. I started to fiddle with the first book, scrolling page by page. The images and writing fonts were good, but not what I came for, so my interest dwindled. I believe I was reading something about rogues from the eastern side when I started to feel woozy, my eyes heavy and battling to stay open.

Jackson, who is usually the most sceptical of our group, speaks up. “What do you mean, more researched?” Braydon takes the book Jackson holds up and flicks through the pages. None of us knows how, but he has an inhuman ability to read shit at lightning speed. It’s like he looks at the page and takes it all in as one picture, everything making sense at a glance. At least that’s how he described it. I wait with bated breath for a few minutes as he spends several seconds on each page. Occasionally a hint of a smile turns up the corners of his mouth. At other points his eyes narrow and his lips pucker. At one point he even laughs out loud.

Alex’s POV: After dinner we cleaned up silently. I do not know why the silence felt warm instead of awkward. Maybe it was because Blake was inside the room, moving around so casually like he belonged here. Maybe because the storm outside had softened and only a light wind sound was coming. We sat on the bed with our books. He opened his chapter on pack history. I opened the one on combat theory. But honestly, neither of us was studying. I could hear his breathing. Slow, calm, little uneven sometimes. And my eyes kept going to him again and again. His hair was still a little wet from the shower. A small drop had dried near his temple but left a faint line. I noticed stupid things like that.

"This is—wow." Zac chuckled softly. "My grandfather was a big reader. He quoted literature as if he were a human book himself." I turned to look at Zac, my eyes lit up. "Zac, this is amazing." Zac shrugged nonchalantly, smiling. "I thought you'd like it." He walked over to one wall, skimming the shelves until he pulled out a book. "I wanted you to have this." I looked at the book he held out for me to take. It was called "Bloom" by Kelle Hampton. I smiled at the title, meeting his eyes. "Wha—but why?"

Running his fingers along the spines of the comic books, he smiled again, this time a little more genuinely. He picked one up—“Blue Heart: A Love Beyond Borders”—and sat back on the bed. But as he opened the first page, the words blurred. Not because of the print, but because his eyes were watery....

The study window is dark. The blue notebook is inside. On the desk. Between the law books and the biographies. "Okay," I say. "Okay?" "Yes. I will read it." "Now?" "Now." --- We go inside. Damon walks to the study. He opens the drawer. He takes out the notebook. Blue. Leather. The pages are worn. The spine is cracked. He has read it and reread it and read it again. He hands it to me. His hands are shaking.
