Twisted Pain
So, I chose to work today.
Standing in front of the heat and constant shouting, my dizziness and nausea were getting ruthless. My vision was distorted, I couldn’t see anything accurately, my leg was becoming jelly, and I was finding it difficult to stand on my feet.
“Kevin,” I called his name.
“Are you done with the egg?”
I somehow held his hand and balanced myself on my feet. Everything was swirling around me.
“Are you okay, Lyra?” Kavin held me in his arm.
“Kavin, I am not feeling well,” I murmured.
