Red An Novels & Stories

Year 1853 Sometimes, gray is seen as a sign of an impending storm. But in this moment, the thick gray clouds hung in the sky, marking the start of the autumn season. Miss Yerez looked at Thea and Xander who were already standing in her room before she even told them to come. She narrowed his eyes. "Why are you here so early?" Xander beat Thea and replied, “Miss Yerez, I'm sorry we barged in without permission, something's bad about to happen to Thea last night, that's why I was here since to protect her.”

“But your heart is sincere, doc. Maybe because you've helped a lot of people in your past? You saved their lives so that's probably why you have a good aura color.” Whether it was true or he was just making it up I didn't want to believe him too much. “If it's Alpha Jayden, he has the red color.” I didn't ask him to read Jayden but he took the initiative on his own. Hm, let's listen to what he wants to say this time. “Why is that?” “The red aura color is as rare as white and black. When someone has red aura, it means that his heart has bad intentions along with his deeds.

There must be something else I can do. Although Vanora had not said it out loud, Vlad could tell what she thought. She fidgeted and looked so uncomfortable with the idea of turning in so early. He sighed helplessly then gave a wry smile. "How about I tell you about the colour of emotions that you could absorb?" "Sure." Vanora listened with rapt attention. "You can absorb almost any shade of red. From an orange-red shade to the darkest shade of red. The only shade that does not belong to you is crimson red which represents sexual desire. That's for demons of lust to feast on."

Red makes her kick hard. Phone buzzed. Unknown number. Same W number. Same that sent blue teddy photo, gold crib video, Mr Henderson car photo. Photo: Me now. In living room. In red dress R35k. Through window again. Someone filming from outside wall again. Even with curtains closed, small gap. Caption: "Red is for losing. You said pink yesterday. Now red today. Pick one, Linda. Blue is one color. Pink is confusion. See you at 33 weeks. Bring gold crib. I still like gold. - W"

I didn't know what to say to her, and just when I opened my mouth to speak, Elaina answered in my place. "Rayne doesn't like the color red so well. I'm sure you wouldn't spend that much amount on something you don't like." Bianca turned to look at her and they both locked eyes for a while before Bianca looked away. "Is that right dear?" Mrs Lawn asked and even though it wasn't true, I had to nod. "I prefer purple."

Everything happened so fast, the spraying, then came the screaming. Chris looks at her in awe and asks her what's happening. She says her arm hurts, she touches the same place where the vervain touched her. Chris is confused as to what to do. So I stand from the stool acting like I'm concerned I spin her around. And there it is, they were right. Rene is a vampire, I can see her fangs, and the worst part; her eyes are blood red. I look at Rene with my jaw dropped and she's looking at me with her jaw dropped too. I think the pain has worn off.

Red, the color of violence, rage, war, blood, the hue that defines passion, love, tenderness, lust astonished but sustains Brian McCoy’s personality splendidly, although I grant him more like a grey or black color guy, just like his disguises and cold behavior he carries all his life.
