Sometimes I really don’t know. As we slowly make the rounds of the different packs and clans and a couple of other kingdoms around the country, I find that there are not very many packs or clans that actually use a separate third in command, as they are usually the Head Warrior. I learnt all I can, but I still felt out of place. We have been travelling for a few months and are currently in the RedBlood Clan; I am about to get up and go down to have some breakfast when I hear from Nathaniel through our mind link.

My wolf rose eagerly at the thought, begging for the fight. But Nyxion didn’t move. He just stared at me, eyes dark and burning, his whole body shaking with the effort of holding himself back. The silence stretched, hot and suffocating. My chest heaved, every part of me trembling with rage, but I didn’t look away. Couldn’t. We were triplets. Three parts of one whole. Born of the same blood, raised under the same roof, bound to lead together. We had fought side by side, bled side by side, laughed and wept, and carried each other.

Lana could feel that he was speaking his heart. “It doesn’t matter who among us three you pick. We all have felt the mate bond and being the triplets we three are your mates. After waiting for an hour, finally, the triplets decided to grace them with their presence. But this time, something was off. Their faces were devoid of emotion. Not like they usually smiled at the elders, but this time felt strange. They smelled dangerous. They looked even more dangerous. Their eyes could burn. But again, they thought, what could go wrong? The elders came prepared with enough guards and weapons. The triplets stormed in dressed in all black. Hael was cladded in his signature black suit, shoes and tie. Elion…in his signature black shirt, leather jacket, trousers and leather boots.

I moved closer and froze— It was a framed photo of Nathaniel and Damian, with a woman who bore a striking resemblance to them. ‘He's white. I also heard he's a triplet.’ Joyce's words replayed in my head. So it was true. Nathaniel was a triplet. There was another photo— a picture of them and their parents; I supposed, and another boy. The happiness radiating from the photo had me smiling too. I picked up the frame and let my fingers brush Nathaniel's face.

Honestly, I had no idea about the Red Dawn Pack or anything like that. I furrowed my brows, not knowing what to say. After all, I had only spent few minutes with them before leaving as soon as I could. “Vi, you have no idea how incredible this is! Tracy continued, her excitement contagious. “Get this, the triplets are rumoured to take over the Red Dawn Pack and become the Alphas. Three Alphas means ultimate power, Vi.
