The Billionaire's Insignificant Wife

The Billionaire's Insignificant Wife

He had already watched it three times since this morning, but something kept drawing him back to it. Daniel navigated to the library camera. Date: the day Junior fell. He scrolled to 4:00 PM. The timestamp showed clearly. 4:00:00 PM. Then jumped. 6:03:47 PM. Two hours and three minutes. Gone. No gradual corruption. No pixelation or distortion leading up to it. Just a clean skip from one moment to the next. Daniel had asked the head of security about it, but the answer was not satisfactory. "Sir, I'm showing... yes, there's a gap. File corruption. System error."

this story seems like it will take hundreds of chapters before the FL finally gets justice. she has gone through so much abuse and the abuse gets so repetitive, especially the ML's guilty conscience and how he "suppresses" it and carries on with he abuse

Brilliant book. It has kept me captivated and broken my heart so many times but I can't seem to stop reading. Hope it comes to a conclusion soon so I can finally rest (and so can Alina & Junior, hopefully together). 225 chapter as of July 31st, 2026.

he said. She looked at him more carefully. "You know the routine?" "I watched the showcase on Friday. The transition between the first and second sections has a half-beat delay. You're trying to close it." She was quiet for a moment. "You watched the showcase." "I was there. You were good." He said it without decoration, the way someone stated a fact they had no particular investment in, and then he shifted his folder under his arm. "I'll find somewhere else." "The transition is in the left formation," she said, before she had decided to say it. "The timing is right but the angle of the entry is creating a visual lag. It reads as a delay but it's actually a positioning problem."

He kept watching the footage. A few seconds later, the same thing happened again. There was a small jump, as if frames were being skipped. The interruption wasn’t rough or obvious, but it was enough to disrupt the natural rhythm of the movement. Fabrizio tilted his head slightly. “Does this happen often?” he asked, not taking his eyes off the screen. The technician nodded. “Yes,” he answered casually. “The surveillance cameras here malfunction quite often. Not for long, just occasionally.” Fabrizio asked, “Since when?”

A Royal Pain In The Texts

Noah told him drily. "Look," Jeremy sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Fine. I will keep things...normal. Just don't leave in the middle of the show. Let's finish the second half, without any trouble." Noah thought over it for a minute, then, finally conceded. "Trouble or no trouble is up to you, Jeremy. Choose your words wisely." The recording started again, and the people before me receded into darkness. Jeremy put on a wide smile on his face. "Ladies and gentlemen, sorry about the inconvenience caused, we were experiencing some technical difficulties."

well done! im just grateful to have read this story eventhough, there are parts that may seem shallow/simple, but hey it really made me escape my life's trouble by making me laugh...i still cant move on about the "shawn mendez" obsession of Liam, caleb's intimate affection towards food and so on....

Any chance there will be a follow up story to this?! Id LOVE to see what happens after they graduate, and if they can make things work. Really good story, author! Took a bit to get used to the way it was written, but once I did, it was smooth sailing from there. Good little laughs throughout, too!
