WHO AM I THIS TIME?
“Do you remember them clearly? I could reach out to inform them.”
George closed his eyes for a long moment before opening them again. “I can hear their voices… but not their faces,” he admitted.
I frowned, disbelief written all over my face. “How is that even possible?” I murmured to myself. “So, without Samuel Reed, we can’t move forward?” I asked. He nodded.
I rubbed my temple, thinking fast. Then, a spark of an idea hit me. I clicked my fingers.
“You don’t need to worry. I’ll find him soon,” I said, smiling. His eyes softened. He looked at me with hope for the first time since I’d known him. Slowly, he snapped his fingers.
