Leo opened his eyes the moment he heard what the warrior said to him. “What?” Leo said loudly. The warrior nodded his head confirming what he just said. Leo looked at the room but he was unable to see anyone inside. “Is this really that beautiful guest’s room?” Leo asked himself and unknowingly started smiling. “Are you blushing?” The warrior asked Leo. ********************** “What is that sound I’m hearing?” Kimberly asked herself and stood up from where she was sitting. Sue suddenly thought Rose might be back already so she excitedly opened the door but to her greatest surprise there was no one there.

“My decision is to follow you. I whisper as I let him go and move back to Lawler’s side to show him what Leon has created for me. Leon steps forward once again, this time instructing something different. “Your people love you and respect you, all of you. Open the book.” He insists as he steps away from us to a group of Vampires who all turn their attention to me. “Open it.” Lawler insists impatiently. Lifting my hand to my mouth to stifle a sob, I read the first page.

Chapter 131 Author's POV Rhea watched Lucian closely as he read the contents of the envelope. She saw the various expressions on his face, from shock to anger and surprisingly pride. She wanted to know what it was that he was seeing, her mind was curious. He finished reading it before sliding it into his pocket and so she asked, “What was that" although something told her he wouldn't be honest or would prefer not to tell her. There was no other way to know though and she would take this.

Leo said. She looked at him for one more second. Then that smile again, warm, unguarded, completely unconscious of what it did to the air around it. "Read the book," she said. "Chapter nine is insane." She turned and walked back down the road. Leo stood at the gate and watched her go with the book in his hands and something in his chest that he was running out of walls to contain. He heard Junior before he saw him. "Don't even say it," Leo said without turning around.

His eyes, bright gold, burned into mine like they could turn stone to steam. "You're too bold, Rhea," Leon whispered, his voice hoarse and low, vibrating against my lips. "Stealing information from an Alpha when he's at his weakest is suicide."

She picked it up and opened it. It was a romance story. The kind with soft words and long looks and people falling in love even when the world was hard. Liera sat on the edge of the bed and started reading. She smiled at some of the lines. She did not hear Ryke wake up. Strong arms suddenly wrapped around her from behind. Warm lips touched the side of her neck. “What are you reading?” Ryke asked. His voice was rough from sleep. Liera turned the book so he could see the cover.

Rocky was there with him, and though they seemed to be studying, Rocky had been admiring something from Leo’s notepad. “Who is this? Is this me?” Rocky asked, and as Leo lifted his head up to see what Rocky was referring to, he tried to grab it from him. “Give it back,” Leo ordered subtly. "Well, you would have to tell me who this is first." Rocky got up from the chair he was sitting on and went to sit on the bed. Now I could only see Leo, as the little opening from the door wasn’t enough to see towards Leo’s bed area.

I rap. “So you stay with Jackson?” He nods, his eyes focused on his roommate. “He’s scary,” I say. Lee turns his eyes to me. The dude has beautiful eyes … the color of liquid gold. And thick, black lashes that go on forever. The kind of lashes that don’t even need mascara. Oh, I wish. “Why?” His voice is still gruff. I watch Logan walking up and down the garden, talking on his phone. “I swear he can read minds … quiet, intense, dangerously observant. He gives devil vibes, as if he likes to play in hell,” I blurt.
