The rose garden extended as far as the eye could see, spreading until it reached the horizon. Giselle informed me that Sebastian had employed over a hundred skilled gardeners to cultivate this garden, featuring rose varieties like Juliet roses, Louis XIV roses, Green Lemon roses, Rhodes roses, Pink Countess Eva roses, and many more superior breeds. The tower's top provided the best viewpoint for appreciating the rose garden.

ROSALINE’S POV: That bastard! I can’t believe after all these years he was still the same. The same asshole that rejected me and now he was acting like he did not know me. Like hell I would fall for that! And what was he trying to do earlier? Rosealba stood on the vast terrace, perching against a burglar, while sipping gently from her wine. The wind whispered grazing her skin. She lifted the glass cup to her lips, taking a gentle sip from it, soothing the afterburn of their sex. The air on the terrace shifted as Rosealba noticed a figure. She titled her gaze— beside her Lina stood, hands gripping a glass cup as she looked up, admiring whatever Rosealba was admiring. Rosealba’s gaze lingered on Lina’s cheeks for some seconds then she swallowed hard, turning to face the sky.

I nodded, picking my glass of wine and then hesitating. "We didn't put anything in it" Melinda chuckled, noticing my hesitation. "Well, that's relieving" I mumbled and lifted the glass to my lips. "Rick, just don't stay quiet, what girl is Rosaline talking about?" Tim nudged Rick's shoulders. "Just some girl" Rick shrugged and picked up his glass of wine too. "I don't believe it" Melinda shook her head. "I don't, too" Tim supported her. "You both are annoying" I rolled my eyes and glanced at my watch.

Stephano answered and Rose tightened her hold around the glass in her hand. “Everyone is having fun don't you want to join in?” Rose brought the glass to her lips and staring ahead. “I prefer to remain in control of my surroundings.” She muttered as her lips grazed the edge of the glass. She sniffed it. It was white wine. She heard Stephano chuckle. “Why? Are you afraid I might take advantage of you?” Stephano cocked his head to look at her reaction. Rose blinked as she tightened her lips together in a thin line.

Having noticed the change in his eyes, Rosaline immediately pulled her hands back and took a sip from her glass. The chemistry between them was electrifying.
