A Royal Pain
“Are you sure that’s okay? I mean, you’re a royal prince, and I’m just an American.”
“Who you are is perfect and beautiful.” He frowned, cupping her chin to make her look at him instead of the ring. “You’re not just anything. You’re everything to me, and that’s all that matters. I’m the youngest son, and I’m unlikely to inherit anyway, so it doesn’t matter if I don’t marry a princess or someone with royal lineage. All that matters is you make me happy and vice versa. Do I make you happy?”
Tears blurred her vision, and her lips trembled as she tried to answer. “Yes,” she said in a wobbly voice.
