Students pick up weapons; some others strike a fighting position in wait for the beast. The beast hits his hands against his chest to spur him up and lets out an intimidating growl. I searched around for his sword, but I could not see it. One of the beasts lunged at him and swung a sharp blade-like arm at him, he docked and grabbed the bladed arm of the beast. The beast struck him with its tail and they both went crashing down the hill. I screamed and ran toward them as the other beasts started to crawl toward him.

The beast stopped chasing the kids when she noticed us, or more precisely when she noticed me. "Shit," I cursed under my breath and hid behind Clark feeling a sense of déjà vu.
