Each one styled around a theme, doorways gaping like mouths, signage glaring overhead in neon, and blood‑red holo.
We emerged into what could only be called a market.
Not for food or weapons.
For games.
Stalls and kiosks had been set up in irregular rows, their counters manned by more of the blank‑faced attendants or slick, pre‑recorded holograms. Above each was a screaming banner:
