Children ran knocking on doors and calling out to those within to come and see. “Are you here to kill the monsters, Lady?” A bright-eyed urchin asked me. “Monsters?” The bearded man perked up. “More than one?” A crowd of villagers formed around us, and the story was spilled out from many voices. Something that dwelt in the sand hills around the villages of the area, that rose unpredictably to eat man or beast. They had become trapped within the small area of their fields and villages, and the monsters grew bolder, coming closer in search of prey. They feared it was just a matter of time until they were attacked within village and home.

Tall, skinny, with long limbs and red glowing eyes. They were wearing tattered black armor, and their skin looked like ash. There were about twenty of them. And they were walking straight towards me. Ignoring everyone else. Seeing only me. "The Star Child..." one of them hissed, its voice sounding like stones grinding together. "We have come... to take... your power." People started to scream. The crowd saw the monsters and panicked. Everyone ran away in terror, scattering like ants. In seconds, the busy street became empty except for me and the monsters.

Monsters, I'm seeing the real monsters in a flesh while my mind keeps telling me that this should be impossible. I scream in fear as I take in their bizarre appearance; the intensity of their stares penetrates my skin like a hot needle is being driven into my flesh. They are hideous and small but largely built at the same time, but what shocks me the most is the fact that none of them seems to be wearing any clothes.

But because of his blood, dark forces like witches, demons, devils and djinns were created. They are present in that forest and they are very dangerous."she said. "How would I go hunt from there, mother?"I was already scared, sweating and shivering were all I could do at a time. "You have powers, you have to use them where needed but unfortunately those creatures have powers too."she said with a worried expression on her face.

She was sure this was Samantha's plan. “Monsters!” Lily screamed in fear as Minotaur-like monsters began to approach them. “Run! Everyone run!” Poppy immediately ordered the others to run and save themselves from the monsters.

During the dark ages, there was talk of supernatural creatures that went bump in the night and no one would ever believe the rumors. They would say that it was religious fanatics spitting out dogma forcing men and women to convert to their religion by scaring them with tales of monsters. Others claimed that it was impossible that none of this was real, that their simply no way that monster could be real.

“I can usually hear them coming, but not always.” She heard Ryker mumble, “Shit,” and then he was in front of her, right behind Christian. Jo didn’t know if she should laugh or roll her eyes. It was pretty clear that he didn’t want to be eaten by the snake, but then, Jo had to wonder what he thought was going to happen now that he was in there? “What other kinds of monsters should we be looking out for?” Scott asked. “All kinds,” Christian replied. “Anything you can imagine, we’ve seen it in here. Some things you would’ve never imagined could possibly exist.”

It was reported by other people he disappeared off the radar. The things I heard made my skin crawl. When I was a kid, my parents used to scare the living daylights out of me with stories about monsters lived in the depths of the earth. It seemed as though the space inside my head was increasing as I listened. "Are these demons rising from the depths? Is there any evidence witnesses have come face to face with truly terrifying demons?" "The abysmal demons are not something is brought up for discussion here at the academy!" A low baritone voice abruptly ended our conversation. His appearance appeared to be startling everyone.

Yahaira?” Vera asked. “You called me by a name you weren’t sure I’d respond to?” the woman asked her. “The name is coming up a lot, and there’s always monsters involved. They even called your name,” Vera told her. The woman pulled a face. “Monsters.” “Yes, monsters. We don’t know where they come from, but there’s monsters everywhere. They’re fast, and they’re killing other species,” Vera explained.

I hate the look of my muscles all tense and stitched tight on my back. A lifetime of blows and bouncing back collects scars. I've had a lot of scalding showers, and bruises have become stretched and angry on me, causing pitted scars. There are no tears, but the groans come in multitude. As a monster, you learn never to accept pain. Pain only affects you if you let it. Black slacks. Black socks. Charcoal shoes are polished until they look like a crisp new apple skin. The shirt is deep forest green, which brings out the natural multiple hues of green in my eyes. Intentional. Gold flecks are juxtaposed in my iris.
