The Battle of Bloodlines

The Battle of Bloodlines

, I said to him while enacting the best panic tone I could. “Remember for teleportation to work you need to tell me where you are exactly or otherwise how would I imagine”, Elvin said in a hurried tone. “All you need to do is imagine me and then imagine dark and jungle and leaves, you will find me now hurry up. I want you here”, I said and disconnected the call. With that I allowed the cell phone to slip from the grip of my hand and fall to the ground, I love the dramatic effect and this was the cherry on the top.

My Brother From Another Universe

My Brother From Another Universe

I say and my parents drop their forks. "A parallel universe?" Mom asks. "How did he get here then?" Dad asks. "Well, my invention brought him here by accident. I call it the Inter-Universal Teleportation Machine 1.0. It transports objects and people," I explain, holding Travis, "from one universe to another. It's amazing isn't it?" "It is." Dad agrees. "The name's lame," Aimee comments with a deadpan tone. "You can call it the ITM-1, it's more catchy."

I say, But I see no one. “You are safe now,” she says again. “Trust your guardian.” “Kane!” I gasp as wind begins to blow in the forest. “Talk with you soon, Mia,” The voice says, before my body wooshes again, throwing me into the abyss. I gasp, hitting the floor, but as I open my eyes, everything is black, “HELLO!” I shout, tears streaming down my face. “HELLO!” “MIA!?” A familiar voice asks, and then I feel hands on me, making me scream.

Bloodline of Mayan Gods; Betrothed in Shadows Bound by Blood

Bloodline of Mayan Gods; Betrothed in Shadows Bound by Blood

Beast in all of his glory suddenly appeared facing their small hidden city. I sat tall on my seat, my heart racing with determination. "Lock on to the humans and teleport them on board." Dr. Brooks was waiting for them, in the back of the shuttlecraft. "Hail him, Neptune," I commanded. "Locking on to the human life signs... teleportation beam energized," Neptune confirmed. The viewscreen flickered to life, showing Zorvath's scaly face. "What is the meaning of this?" he asked in perfect English.

BLAIR

“That is true. Still, if we assume it is…” :It would most likely be connected to that machine I’d say: Draco said. Matthew glanced at the chamber once again. A machine. If we’re talking about a machine that would use a dimensional crystal… “A teleporter.” :Seems so: “You’re saying I can use this thing to teleport back to my home world?” Matthew felt a little excited and hopeful hearing about it.

It appeared that it was hidden in one of their dwellings for emergency purposes. “Please use this, our so-called compacio. You’ll be in the palace in no time, when you use this,” she said as she opened the door. The interior was quite modern as far as I could see. It was bright inside with blue and white lights. So, this was one of the Furezos’ technology that I heard about. This vehicle could travel faster than light and could pass as a teleporter. And it would make us very comfortable indeed and can save up our energy. The capsules were then loaded and used by the others.

It has a small scene underneath the three buttons but nothing else. Laura holds out her hand, and I place mine in hers. She presses the middle white button, and a small needle pops out of the end of the square device. She pricks my finger quickly, and the device gives a beep as the needle disappears. "My device only has one location I can teleport people to. It is very basic compared to the teleporters they use," Laura explains as she stares at the small screen. I glance at her face quickly before looking back down at the screen. After a few seconds, a loud beep sounds again, and the word logged pops up on the screen.

I really enjoyed this book. It was sad, sweet, dramatic, romantic, violent, and had a wonderful ending. My only complaint is that some chapters that are from a different POV repeat 90% of the same scenes stated in another chapter. If they had been combined some way it would have been perfect!
