His Plump Mate

His Plump Mate

Then I grabbed my sheath for my waist and inserted my seven inch parkerized blade. “Holy Moon Goddess! You look like you are going to war.” Rory squealed. I laughed at her energy. I look over at Aiden who is looking at me with some emotion I cannot name. The last thing I grab is my Kukri Machete. It’s eight inches long and completely black. There is only a thin silver lining along the edge. It’s great for combat, but I am going to slice through some of the targets. “Okay, I’m ready.”

Wrath

Wrath

“Why am I always clenching my asshole when you’re around these guys, Wrath?” Gage barked out a laugh. “Maybe Wrath’s the common denominator. He has some Hudson tendencies.” Weasel cupped his groin. “Nobody can have Hudson tendencies like Hudson. He’s just fucking unhinged.” “He told me about flaying that biker’s balls. It’s an interesting concept. I might have to try it the next time I’m asking questions nicely.” Jake laughed and motioned to Devon Longshire. “Get him in the van, Weasel. Your balls are safe tonight.”

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The Billionaire Alpha's Revenge

The assassin raised the blade for a killing thrust. "Hey!" Hailey shouted. "That's rude!" She didn't have a weapon. She had a peach pit. She threw it. The pit bounced off the assassin's invisible head. The assassin turned, annoyed. He raised a wrist-mounted dart launcher aimed at Hailey. "Hailey!" Jack roared, scrambling over a pile of crates. Hailey panicked. She fell backward. Her hand slapped the control panel of the industrial magnet. She didn't turn it off. She turned it to "MAXIMUM".

Fractured

Fractured

“We stop treating this like a battle we can win in one strike.” Ronan’s gaze stayed on the seam in the air. “So we hunt it.” Mirra shook her head. “We don’t chase it into its own terrain. That’s what it wants.” Selene frowned. “Then what?” Mirra reached into the satchel at her hip—something she’d been carrying since before the binding—and withdrew a small, rough stone. It was plain to the eye. Grey. Unremarkable. The kind of thing a person would kick off a path without thinking.

Alpha Nox

Alpha Nox

He’d always been a big man, but somehow, he’d gotten bigger. His flannel alone must’ve had the word ‘extra’ in it’s size at least three times over. A hatchet was gripped firmly in his hand, and was comically small in comparison to his meaty fist. With one smooth swing, he lobbed a chunk of wood in two, splitting it right down the center. It tumbled to the ground, ignored as he plucked another and repeated his earlier motions.

This was the 3rd Jane Doe book I read. Alpha nox is a really good read with a badass female lead. You're a talented author and I can say you've become my favorite author! My heart broke into pieces at some point but intense emotions are what I love the most about your work! Good job, Jane!

CRUZ

CRUZ

"Your brother caused all of these." "Henry?" Philip said, getting up from the sofa. "What did he do?" "He sabotaged our plans. So deal with it first before screaming, boy." She said and hung up. Philip exhaled deeply attempting to hold his running rage. It spread throughout his body like fire spreading in a building and when he couldn't control it anymore, he threw the remote at the screen of the TV, causing it to crack. A part of him wished that the screen had broken into pieces. It only meant he wasn't trying hard enough. All his schemes had gone to blazes because of Henry's sabotage.

Alpha Hunter

Alpha Hunter

AVA Without another word, Hunter moves swiftly away from the lockers, passing by his two friends whose names I'm guessing are Preston and Gomorey. They had been gawking at Hunter with a mischievous grin playing on their lips, and Hunter didn't waste a chance to shoot them both with his penetrating glare. I noticed their pupils retrench as they stared at him, meaning they were conversing with each other through mindlink. It was brief, lasting a couple of seconds before Hunter turns left and straight down the now-empty halls.

Billionaire's Accidental Wife

Billionaire's Accidental Wife

“Woah! this is way way older than those in Leba.” He cupped his palm and scraped away more dirt with the bridge of it. This second layer was more difficult to move, but he was still able to do it, resulting in a larger trench. Shawn stood up again, satisfied he could work with this, and set down his gear bag. He unzipped the secondary pouch and fished out his hunting knife. The grey handle contrasted with the black coating over the steel blade within the sheath, but he did not intend to dull his knife in the dirt. The sheath would work just fine.

HALLOWEEN

HALLOWEEN

He asked and noticed that she was looking around fhe place as if she was searching for something. "Hey! Willow! What are you looking for?" He asked again but she pretended like he was not there. She saw the object that he used in opening up the stomach of the zombie as she quickly snatched it. "Hey! What do you want to use that for? This spoke would be able to take off the whole maggots, one by one" he said but she was not listening to him. She raised the object and was about to cut off her foot as he quickly dropped the spoke and held her arms in the air.

Frequently Asked Questions

That book's realism really stuck with me, so I dug around a bit when I was younger. Gary Paulsen's 'Hatchet' is fiction, but it's absolutely anchored in the author's own survival experiences and extensive research. The details about constructing the shelter, trying to make fire, and even the fish spear—they ring true because Paulsen lived a lot of that outdoor life himself. I read he worked as a trapper and spent years in the wilderness; that knowledge seeps into every page.

What really sells it as a story, though, is that it's a focused character study. Brian Robeson is a fictional kid dealing with a very specific, traumatic situation: the plane crash, the pilot's death, the secret about his mother. The plot is crafted to test him, over and over. So while the survival techniques are authentic, the narrative itself—the sequence of disasters, the discovery of the survival pack, the rescue—is a constructed journey. It's a blend, which is probably why it feels so convincing. The emotional arc is manufactured for maximum impact, but the tools Brian uses feel legit.
