Next to him sat his friend, Archie, who was busily trying to build a giant wall out of plastic buckets. Toby held a small red toy truck, rolling it over the edge of the sandbox. “Vroom, vroom," Toby made low engine noises with his mouth, pushing the truck up a pile of dirt. "Look, Archie! My monster truck is climbing the big mountain!" Archie didn't look up, smashing a plastic bucket down onto the sand. "My castle is bigger. It’s for the dinosaurs." "Trucks can smash dinosaurs," Toby declared proudly, making his truck jump through the air and land right next to Archie’s feet.

One second they were talking about cracked heads, and the next they were arguing about prehistoric animals. At this point, she had completely lost track of their conversations. "T-Rex is stronger," Janus declared. Adrian shook his head. "No." "Yes." "No." "YES!" Sophia looked over and saw the two of them having a very serious debate about dinosaurs while they were stuck in traffic. She rubbed her forehead. "So who's stronger?" Janus asked. Adrian pretended to think carefully. "I think... Spinosaurus." "What?!" Janus gasped as if he had just been personally insulted. "Impossible!"

Almost bedtime. As I step out of my office, I hear giggles from the living room. When I turn the corner, I find Collin sprawled out on the floor, surrounded by dinosaur figurines, his T-Rex plush clutched in one hand. His face lights up the second he sees me. “Daddy! Come look!” He waves me over excitedly, pointing at the Jurassic World book spread open in front of him. “Did you know the Brachiosaurus was as big as a house?”

she asked, bouncing on her stool. I chuckled, handing her a sparkly sprinkle tub. “We’ll make unicorns, hearts, stars, whatever your magical little mind wants.” Across the island, Chen piped up with a mouth full of dough. “I want to make a dinosaur cookie! A T-Rex! ROARRR!” Abby smirked as she looked up from the mixing bowl. “As long as your T-Rex doesn’t eat all the dough first.” He giggled. “Too late!” Dante chimed in from the speaker's corner. “We should name the cookies. This one…” he held up a lopsided blob, “is Sir Blob-a-lot.”

I gestured toward the living room. “Go ahead.” Leo jumped down from the stool and grabbed Dylan’s hand. “Come on!” From the kitchen doorway I watched them move toward the living room. Leo dropped onto the carpet beside the couch where his small army of plastic dinosaurs was spread out in chaotic formations. “This one is the leader,” he explained, holding up a bright green T. rex. Dylan crouched beside him, resting his forearms on his knees. “And why is he the leader?” “Because he’s the strongest.”

There were so many more a centaur with stalls for each one, three little elves, vampires, witches, even a pool in the back for the mermaids. You could agree that it wasn’t the best looking but if It could hold all of us then it has to have some type of magic in it. I took a big deep breath out not noticing that I was holding it, looking back at Daisy I saw how her silky black hair was all over the place. Likewise, I took my hand out combing it with my hands indicating to her about her hair she looked at me with shock a Scooby-Doo face. She quickly grabbed my hand away from her hair and put it down in my lap rumbling in her hand purse then pulling out a hot pink comb to match her purse.
