NEGLECTED WIFE BECAME THE MOST WANTED

NEGLECTED WIFE BECAME THE MOST WANTED

Sweat rolled down his face as panic consumed him. “You have five seconds before I lose my patience,” I said coldly. “I swear…” “Four.” “Please listen…” “Three.” “She’s in Sector Nine!” he blurted out desperately. Silence filled the room. My jaw tightened. Sector Nine. Even I knew about that place. An underground holding facility used for high-risk detainees. People sent there usually disappeared. “Who ordered her transfer?” The director hesitated. Jasper pushed the gun harder against his head. “Talk.”

After Ninety-nine Times

After Ninety-nine Times

Her panic returned as she looked back at me. “Finn, can we please start over? I swear, this time–” “I’m sorry, Annie,” I cut her off. “We’re done.” Her face froze. She opened her mouth, wanting to say something else, but before she could, security had arrived. “Ma’am, please calm down.” “Don’t touch me!” Annie struggled against them, her tears smudging her makeup. “Finn! Please! Just give me one more chance!” Her cries grew distant as she was led away, and the conference room slowly returned to normal.

The Obsidian Covenant #1: The Rejected Mate's Ruin

The Obsidian Covenant #1: The Rejected Mate's Ruin

"Priority Alpha. Direct from the Celestial Spire." I took the datapad from him. The screen glowed with the Lugal’s seal—the crescent moon eating the sun. COMMANDER ASHFANG. DEPLOY IMMEDIATELY TO SECTOR 99. BONE WASTES. INVESTIGATE SEISMIC ANOMALIES. SECURE THE SOURCE. "Sector 99," I rumbled. Staring at the coordinates. "That is the Dead Zone. Nothing lives there. Even the Rogues avoid it." "The Onyx Guard isn't avoiding it," Wolfy pointed out. He zoomed in on the map. Zip. "Satellite telemetry shows the heavy battalions moving into position here and here. They are setting up a perimeter."

The Last of 99 Goodbyes

The Last of 99 Goodbyes

Mom's eyes rolled back, and she collapsed. Joshua caught her just in time. Dad's face went pale as he stumbled into the house. When he saw the storage room door that had been forced open, he fell to the floor. "My daughter… Sophia!" Panic flooded Joel's face. His voice trembled as he said, "No, that can't be. Soph was just fine just now! She has to be fine now too!" When he finally snapped out of his panicked state, he turned to rush outside.

BETRAYED BY HER BLOOD, CLAIMED BY THE NIGHT

BETRAYED BY HER BLOOD, CLAIMED BY THE NIGHT

The creature didn't scream; it hissed, its orange core flaring as it tried to stabilize. "That’s for Phuwin, you glowing bastard!" Somito roared, bringing the mace down again and again until the orange light flickered and died, leaving only a pile of cooling, amber slush on the floor. "You really need to work on your stealth, old man," Zilo said, rushing to the terminal and his fingers flying across the keys. "Okay, I’ve got the bypass. Cell 402. Restricted access. It says... 'Subject: Pilot. Status: Integration Complete.'"

The Full Moon Murders

The Full Moon Murders

Notes scribbled in code still clung to clipboards tossed across the floor. “What were they doing here?” Mason whispered. Evelyn opened a drawer, fingers trembling. Photos. Notes. Logs. She stopped at a page marked Case Subject 9A. Age 16. Male. Transfer from “Hollow Branch.” Subject showed signs of high aggression post-serum. Terminated. “These weren’t criminals,” Evelyn said, voice low. “They were kids. Street kids. Runaways. Easy to disappear.” She didn’t say it out loud, but they all knew what she was thinking:

The Dark Alpha's Pet

The Dark Alpha's Pet

I feel like I will never escape from the cage I spent so many years of my childhood in. The dream of my first time in the laboratory haunts my mind, a constant reminder that I am the Dark Alpha’s pet, Experiment 399. I subconsciously ran my fingers down the back of my leg, feeling the permanent engraved scar of 399, and then felt the scar over my lower abdomen. Closing my eyes, I let out a whimpered sigh. The buzzing of my phone breaks into my thoughts and I see its Benji calling. I swipe it open, and press the speaker before resting it on top of the small stool I keep near the side of the tub. “Hello?”

This book should be made into a full on series, a regular book - it’s SO good! I obvs have some editorial comments, but overall it’s a solid world building, great original characters (though all could use a bit more mix of good/bad qualities for a more natural feel). The plot is so good! Recommend!

Craving his control

Craving his control

One that had ties to illegal experiments, psychological conditioning, underground corporate testing programs. My stomach twisted. Lucien had been there. As a child. There was a single line that chilled me to the core. Subject: Vale, Lucien. Unfit for adoption—non-compliant, unstable emotional patterns. Terminated from program following Incident 9. Incident 9? I clicked. The file was redacted, but a fragment remained. “Subject reacted violently to caretaker’s removal of personal attachment. Full psychotic break recorded. Escaped facility perimeter for 48 hours before being recovered and restrained.”

Xiao, the Soulwaker

Xiao, the Soulwaker

he immediately ordered, “Code Nine, you stay here. I want you to keep me in track with the attacker.” Both the pets nodded in unison before Asphalt ran towards the exit, leaving Code Nine alone in her place. Just as expected, when she woke up once again, we got attacked. The Phantoms can really spot her presence. They’re really wanting Xiao even though she was able to defeat them all before. But right now, things are no longer the same. Xiao would be put into great danger if she remains here in Universe XXII. Code Nine was in deep thoughts while she was doing The8’s orders. She was tracking the upcoming enemies through her radar. Her eyes widened at the sight of multiple trespassers coming t

The Rejected Luna's Twin Alphas

The Rejected Luna's Twin Alphas

"The biological sensors are picking up a 'Culling Frequency' from the triangular ship. The creature is trying to detach itself from the peak. It wants to flee back into the dark!" "Hold it together, Harl!" I roared, my hands fusing with the central trunk of the Grove. I felt the mercury in my blood accelerate, the violet lattice pulsing with a new, intrusive stream of data. A window popped up on my internal HUD, a file I hadn't seen in a lifetime. It was a digital copy of my own medical residency papers from the university, annotated in a clinical, multifaceted script. Subject 09-Elara. Potential: High. Resistance to Conformity: Critical.
