Arlo “I heard you sent out of some of our warriors to look for your mate,” Devyn said whilst barging into my office. “Yes,” I said, still not looking up from my phone. I was searching up the names of the people who went to the party last night, but I’m still not able to find my mate despite going through the entire list. I heard a chair dragging beside me, and I felt Devyn looking over my shoulder. I sighed. “Can you come back later? I’m busy right now.”

I assure her, but she only shake her head no, I don't believe my words either, but we had to try something. "We're here," Marco says, breaking the tense moment, we parked the car and ran out of them, I didn't care about the people who are here with us, they can come in on their own time, but right now, we need to get to daddy Aspen. "Aspen!" I call coming inside the house, he must be here somewhere, unless if he's hiding in some panic room and he'd never do that. "Aspen!" Ashlynn calls, going from one room to another trying to find him.

The work week had officially started and we needed to keep up appearances. "Spill the news, bro. I feel like I'm about to explode," Tag snarled as he slugged back some more black coffee. "Right. Yesterday while I was setting up the backdating autotasks, I set up some obscure terms for keyword searches here in Triport. Hollyn's not a very common name, and I doubted her mother would have come up with it on her own. I was banking on it being a family name or some variation of same." I took a drink of my fresh squeezed orange juice. "I got a firm hit on Hollyn spelled with two wildcards. Which, when paired with her last name, slimmed it down to a single name."

She paused before looking down to her hands. “You tried what?” I pushed. I wanted to know what more bullshit was about to leave her mouth. “Well, I did try to contact you, but you were nowhere to be found. Where were you, exactly?” She lifted one eyebrow as she scrutinised my body language. ‘Tried to contact you? By what? A fucking Carrier pigeon?’ Kieran’s sarcastic mind link filled my head. I cut him off, shifting in my seat displayed my frustration at this whole fucked up situation.

He’s looking for a way to find me, to pin me down before I can strike. I pause, a slow, predatory smile spreading across my face. I have my bait. I begin to craft a high-end, minimalist advertisement. I use a deep-web domain I’ve kept in reserve, styling the interface with the clinical, cold elegance of a boutique intelligence firm. I name it Aegis-Locate. The tagline is simple, written in a font that suggests absolute authority: "We find anyone, anywhere. Even the dead."

“But I need to call for a search party regardless of who it is. If someone is missing, we need to find them.” Through the pack link, I connect to my beta and bark. “We have a situation. It appears Bethany, my daughter’s best friend, is missing. Her parents haven’t seen her since last night. Don’t cause a panic in the pack, but we need to gather some soldiers and a couple of trackers to look for her.” He quickly replies, “Really? I’ll get a group to go search right away.” Silently, I breathe a sigh of relief. “Tell me if they find anything. No matter what it is.”

Now, as Bethany explained, “Everything is digital.” The workers in the registrar’s office glance at Bethany and I with curious interest, though they do not approach us. Nor do they focus on us more than their actual work. They give us such a wide berth that I wonder if Tristan has been here before us to instruct them to leave us alone, and let us have the run of the place. I can’t imagine why else they’d let a pair of stranger peruse the shelves. We find an open desk and sit down. In the record database, I find the search bar and then type in Summer Robins. After hitting enter, I’m greeted with an error message.

’ 'Before the promise? 'Alright. I will try not be hard on him.’ 'And who else might be connected?’ 'Yes,’ There was a momentary silence. 'Now, father, I will like you to call Sola and Silero and asked them what they are looking for in Dondra cave.’
