The Lycan King's Rejected Queen Novels & Stories

Alpha Sunny seemed confident again now. “With respect, Your Majesty,” he continued. “This matter doesn’t concern you.” The moment the words left his mouth… The temperature of the forest seemed to drop. The Lycan King’s golden eyes turned ice cold. “Doesn’t concern me?” Alpha Sunny hesitated slightly. “Yes.” The Lycan King suddenly laughed. But the sound was far from friendly. “You rejected her,” he said slowly. “Yes.” “You humiliated her in front of your entire pack.” Alpha Sunny remained silent.

"Where do you think he was for the past two years? Ruling his kingdom. I'm surprised he had time to come back" I move away from the window and sit on the nearest chair before my legs give out on me. Kaden is the Lycan king? Why didn't he tell me? Then again, who am I to him? No one. He already found his queen. Even if he hadn't, there is no way the Lycans would accept a mere werewolf as their queen. Much less someone like me. I'm broken. Unfit and unworthy to be anyone's mate. No wonder he didn't want to believe me. He's a king. Of course, he wants nothing to do with me.

Their hair was wet, their clothes have patches of water droplets, but all in all, they looked clean. “Your turn, love.” – he muttered She frowned. It was the first time he called her that. “What did you just call me?” “I called you love.” She smiled. Couldn’t help it. “I know you’re no longer my queen anymore, but you’re still my love.” She leaned in closer to him and planted a kiss on his cheek. What has happened to the Lycan king? How come the spoils of war has left him with a sweet bone? “On that note, I’ll go wash myself clean then, love.”

“I, Esme Meadows, reject you as my mate!” At her heated words of rejection, a tense silence enveloped the whole yard. No one, not even the wind made a single noise. Esme tensed, expecting the pain of the rejection to swamp her body but nothing came. Then the king laughed. A soft mocking laugh. “You really don’t know anything, do you?” He said mirthlessly as he knelt before her. “The rejection will never work.” “Why?!” “Because, my dear Esme, lycans mate for life. And even if they didn’t, I wouldn’t accept your rejection anyways.”

The events of the past day flooded my memory, and I plopped down on the bed in defeat. "Who brought me here?" I asked. "Damien, the Lycan King." She shrugged, and my heart stopped. It couldn't be. This had to be some sick joke from nature. Of all the people in the world to be my mate, it had to be the Lycan King. A wolf feared by all throughout the kingdom. I marvelled at how, in less than a day, I had gone from almost getting married to the love of my life to finding out he was having a child with my best friend and then almost getting killed by rogues if not for the timely appearance of my mate.

"Alaric, get up. Please get up. PLEASE..." "No..." I sniffled. "No, you promised. You promised you would protect me. You promised..." I refused to believe that he was gone as the bond went silent. "ALARIC!" I screamed with everything I had, my voice breaking. "NO! COME BACK! PLEASE COME BACK!" "He's gone," Viktor said coldly. "The Lycan King is dead. Long live the new era." "I'll kill you," I sobbed, still fighting even as the sedative dragged me down. "I'll kill all of you. I'll rip you apart..."

Sitting at the head of the table was the King and queen next to him and at the other end of the table were Marcelo and his beta. Marcelo’s eyes drifted between me and Kaleb, who was holding my hand now. I tried to remove my hand, but he pulls it back, gripping it too tight that I could feel my knuckles crack. “Shall we begin?” The king gestured for everyone to take their seats. >>> Two hours into the meeting, everyone is arguing about how Lycans are attacking small packs and not having to give them a chance to choose their packs. “I do what I have to do because it is for the best. People need leaders and…” One of the leaders from the south wanted to speak.

We overheard one of the alphas drunk kids at the party talking about how the lycan king is locked away, and that only the firstborn alphas and the alpha king have the maps to the location where he is locked away. Nobody at the party took the guy seriously, but you know what they say, a drunk man tells no lies. Many people say that the Lycan king is dead. There are many different stories about the Lycan King. Some of the stories say he was a good guy and others say he was this savage monster. It's so many different stories, so many wolves including myself who wasn't around durn the time of the lycan king think that he's only a legend and that most of the stories were made up to scare us as ki

A wild fury overtook him, and with a guttural roar, he transformed into his Red Lycan beast form, a towering creature of strength and primal rage. The gala turned into chaos. Guests scrambled to escape as Artemis, lost to his rage, tore through the hall. No one was spared from his wrath—not even his beloved queen, who had tried to calm him. In the horror that ensued, Queen Genea was among those who fell. By the time the royal guards subdued the king with silver chains, the queen lay lifeless, her once bright and kind eyes closed forever. The court mourned the loss of their queen, yet a darker whisper spread like wildfire: “The Red Lycan bloodline must end.”

And somewhere deep inside my blood. Something ancient opened its eyes. Blackness swallowed me. But the last thing I heard, before I hit the ground, was not my wolf crying. It was another voice. Low. Powerful. Not Kael’s. Not from this pack. “You dare reject what belongs to me?” As Aurelia lies unconscious beneath the full moon, her rejected bond bleeds silver across the ground and miles away, a Lycan King rises from his throne.
