Then I noticed it, over Lauren's shoulder, I saw Ezekiel smiling.
Not sluggish or mocking but a warm smile and right beside him– laughing easily– was my boyfriend.
The hug finally broke, as Lauren wiped her tears and stepped back, her brows now were knitted together. “Why is he here?” she asked, her voice below whispering.
I let out a small, humourless laugh. “Oh, I just found out that my boyfriend and your brother–in–Love–”
