I pressed, my voice soft but insistent. Seren’s fingers drummed lightly on the armrest, her gaze fixed on the passing scenery. “I’ve heard it all before. Men whispering about me, calling me too pretty, stuck-up... I guess it’s just easier when I’m around people who don’t know me. Serene shakes her head in pity. Keeping her eyes on the road, she drives back to Human Town. "Do you know what you will do now? You've severed all ties with Eclipse Howl and Midnight Moon. Do you have a plan for the future?" She is right, I am on my own again. I need a plan before the baby is born. We need a place to live, as close to the hospital as possible. And then I need to get a job, my credit card won't last much longer.

Serene suddenly stops convulsing and her eyes are glowing all white. "Elena," she says, her gaze lands on me. " Elena," Her gaze is in a faraway voice Beware of the one who will pretend to prepare, gather your strength or it will be your end. Despair will befall you even if you succeed. The past holds the key to the weapons you need. Serene passes out and wakes back up a few moments later. Everyone was looking at her. I grabbed her chin, checking for scars. Her voice is back to normal.

He concluded. I turned to Elara, her face went pale, and she was scared to the wits. "Do you think Serene is alive?" Elara said as Brent and I turned sharply to her. "Alive? She died three years ago from cancer, you know this...so how possible?" Brent questioned, but then it hit me. "Or it could be a family friend of hers or an acquaintance." Elara immediately cut in," I doubt that, Serene and her grandmother have been isolated from family ever since her parents died."

"Yes, Alexander. That's right... there isn't even one person in this pack, or even outside of it, who supports you. They're all working together to hide the big secret in your life. Do you think I'm the only one with a big secret in my life? About myself, or even my late parents." Serenity sighed loudly, then laughed sadly slowly there. "I probably don't know anything about the secrets in my life. And I don't care about those things at all. Because now I've got the life I've wanted all these years." Serenity's words instantly made Alexander look at Serenity with eyes that looked very troubled now. "I got my real life." Without realizing it, Serenity's tears began to well up in her eyes there
