Seven people and Idris walking into clean light carrying the specific weightlessness of people who have set something heavy down and have not yet picked up the next thing. That space between that brief, rare, honest pause between what was and what would be. Sera walked through it with her eyes open. Feeling everything. Letting none of it stop her. Just forward. Just herself. Completely. Finally. Irrevocably herself.

Serenity met his gaze- her eyes shining with unshed tears- and whispered her response, "I will." With that, Serenity entered the car. She knew that the more time she delayed, the more reluctant she will be to leave. That's why, she hardened her heart and got inside the car, starting the vehicle next. Serenity couldn't resist taking one last lingering look at the place that had been her sanctuary for so long. The familiar surroundings, the comforting scent of the woods, and the echoing howls that had once filled her heart with a sense of belonging will forever remain imprinted in her mind.

Serenity's POV I felt so heavy. Like a weight was pressing down on my entire body. I felt so uncomfortable and just wanted to get away from it. It was not so much pain, as it was pressure. Suddenly, as if falling asleep, I found myself at the packhouse on the Alpha floor. My surroundings were so familiar, and the smells of my family were all around me. It was so comforting. I felt so peaceful. I walked toward my bedroom, as if dragged... or maybe even possessed to do so. I am not entirely sure why I am going there. Its early morning. I have things to be doing! Pup training and helping in the pack hospital. But I keep going, walking down the familiar hallway.

So, with a smile that Made Hannah relax, Serenity breathed out a word that brought back the tense atmosphere in the room. "Peaches" --------

I opened my eyes as a wave of water hit my feet. I am in my favorite place where I can control my thoughts. I've been going here in the seaside since I was a child. This is my favorite spot where I can think peacefully. A place full of serenity and calmness. My life has been tough and full of uncertainties but the sea always gives me hope. My life has its highs and lows like the sea but it still finds a way to be beautiful. Noong bata ako ay nakita ako sa dalampasigan.

When she looked deeper, she saw more— Lunara’s grace, Requiem’s rebellion, the Flow’s awakening, the moment when silence became song again. Every reflection shimmered for a heartbeat, then vanished into the current, carried downstream toward infinity. > “So this is what eternity looks like,” Seren whispered. “Not endlessness… but peace.” --- The Last Return She knelt beside the river and touched the surface gently. The ripples spread in wide circles, each one a heartbeat of its own. Behind her, footsteps approached— light, familiar.

Equilibrium. Serenity, despite her name meaning the state of being calm and at peace, has never had a taste of being in the said state. Not once was she able to live without crippling anxiety. Vince’s presence? It does give her a sense of safety, but never peace. That’s contrary to the nature of their relationship. A sigh escaped from Serenity’s lips as she threw her shades at the pearly sands of the island her father had always loved. An extremely breathtaking view, with the lovely sands and the calm waves.

Sandy: Let me live within the moment. Let me feel all that I can. Let me cherish life for all it's worth, With everything I am. Let me see what's right in front of me, With vision crystal clear. And face what's waiting there for me, With no hesitance or fear. May I wake each day with gratitude, For all my life may be. And always feel that wonderment At the world surrounding me. May I welcome any strangers With an open heart and mind.

Because now— They felt true. Serena closed her eyes briefly. “I don’t know what I’m doing anymore,” she admitted. The words felt heavier than anything she’d said before. Because this time— She meant them truly. A soft breeze passed through, brushing against her skin. For a moment— Just a moment— It almost felt like peace. Like she could stay there and like nothing else existed beyond that river and beyond..that silence. The branch snapped behind her. Serena’s eyes opened instantly.

I reluctantly parted my lips and sang. "Standing by the riverside Breathing in the air Serenity I realize Is hidden everywhere So, I close my eyes As the water is drifting I try to memorize The beauty that I see This is what I long for A place to calm the fire raging in me This is what I've dreamed of This place where I belong is what I need All my trouble seems futile Nothing bothers me Here right by the riverside I'm free to be me Nothing can touch me now Not a whisper in my ears
