Something she could only imagine existed in books and movies. A pair of red eyes and two long fangs that stuck out of the mouth as though they were always meant to be there. Except there was no blood dripping from his mouth as always described in books. Yet, she was still scared senseless at the sight of a living, vampire right in front of her eyes. He moved closer to her again but this time, she was prepared and understood what he was. She lunged on her feet in fright and prepared to flee. But she had barely moved two steps when that figure appeared in front of her again.

she replied, glancing at Theo with concern. Before they could react, a figure leaped out from the shadows. It was a vampire. He lunged at Theo, knocking him down and sinking his teeth into his leg. Theo cried out in pain, trying to fight off the attacker. Sarah acted swiftly, leaping at them and trying to slash at the vampire whose reflexes were faster than she could keep up with.

" Derek said as he took a deep breath. "Wow, so am also a vampire but worst than you guys because I am a mixture of human and vampire." Veronica said. "...and the real me has been locked up for years and I finally set her free yesterday. Don't tell me I killed a lot of people." Veronica added. "Yep, about thirty and almost one, but I stopped you and wore your chain back." Derek said. "Eww, I feel gross." Veronica said sticking out her tongue. "Now I told you, can I drink your blood." Derek said.

She told him without hesitation. He looked at her, surprised. “Why vampires? They feed on human blood and are cold-blooded murderers.” He told her. “Not all vamps are murderers. Some feed on animal blood and some feed on human blood that was donated.” She told him with an offended pout. “But would you date one?” he asked her. “Absolutely, that is, if he loves me.” She told him with an excited grin, “Vampire are very affectionate and loyal to their partners and who wouldn’t want a guy who loves you unconditionally.” She told him.

“You do know it takes proper blood to keep a vampire in their best condition?” I didn’t say anything. I listened while staring at the glass of blood, not sure if I could drink it. A new kind of battle was being waged inside me. Could I really drink werewolf blood? Sebastian must have seen my struggle because he said, “Blood slaves are criminals of the worst kind.” The burden of the blood in my hand felt a little less heavy. “The worst, how so?” He didn’t look at me. Sebastian was peering off into the distance as if he wasn’t with me anymore. He came back to the conversation. “Those who have stolen vampire offspring, so you needn’t feel guilty.”

She asked, sitting up right. "That's not it." Lauren said, eager to fill Emily in, "These people are believed to be killed by serial killers lurking in the woods. On their body, strange marks were found, a deep black hole, punctured on their neck. Just yesterday, the news claimed that the deaths were caused by vampire's." Emily scoffed loudly and almost laughed but quieted down, remembering she had made a promise to remain sad. "Vampire's? Like in Dracula? Twilight and the vampire series? Or Blade?" She scoffed again. "Trust the media to make up stories to cover the actual cause of death."
