I held my breath partially to deal with the smell and also because I had some dumb idea if they didn’t hear me breathing they wouldn’t attack. The others took that as a cue for them to shift into their creature forms too. I was feeling insanely under prepared for this fight. I glanced at Posy who seemed to feel the same way. A Wanix and an Inrith could handle these Serpenbites, right?

The circle grew in size rapidly until it looked like it could fit a large aeroplane through it. From there, a large serpent-like creature came out of it. The creature was approximately 150 metres in length. It seemed to have armoured plating all over its body. It didn’t have any limbs and was simply a snake that could fly. It had three pairs of eyes but no mouth.
