MATED TO THE ALPHA TWINS

MATED TO THE ALPHA TWINS

His men already knew there was something going on when he gathered both warriors and guards. He explained his defense to them. He posed it as a test, and all of them tried to slip past his defense without getting caught by any of the guards that he had placed at every possible angle. None of them went past the pack square before they got caught. "So, gentlemen, we have the perfect defense. There is a war oncoming. For the next several days, we will put this defense in place until the danger has passed. Rayden will assign you to your various positions, so I advise that you get familiar. I don't want any dead men." So they began to train.

My Omega, My Mate, My Rejected Luna

"A great threat looms on our borders, whether it is tonight, or tomorrow. Scouts have reported an invading force twice our size marching ever closer with intent to conquer." Unsettled whispers spread through the crowd at this news. I raised my voice further to continue. "But we will not go down without a fight! We may be outnumbered, but we fight for our homes, our families, our very way of life! No enemy will take that from us while I draw breath!" Heartened howls and shouts of agreement met my words. I paused to let the energy build before continuing. "I want our most experienced warriors to divide into teams, taking positions along the eastern and western flanks. You will be our first lin

Rejected By The Alpha Who Claimed Me

Rejected By The Alpha Who Claimed Me

Just weapons wrapped in cloth and cloaks pulled low. “You still sure about this?” Lysa asked quietly as we descended. “No,” I answered honestly. She huffed a breath. “Good. Means you’re thinking.” The settlement came into full view as night settled. Wooden structures clustered tightly around the road, built quickly and poorly, like they’d been added on out of desperation rather than planning. Temporary walls ringed the outer edge more symbolic than defensive. People noticed us immediately. Not as wolves. As danger. Eyes tracked us from doorways. Conversations dipped. Hands hovered near concealed blades.

The Curvy Heiress: Lost Werewolf Sister

“You lock the Vale down. Pack, companies, borders. No reaction unless it’s unavoidable.” Rowan frowned. “You’re asking us to sit on our hands.” “I’m asking you to guard the spine while I bare my throat.” I shot back. “Big difference.” Cameron’s hand rested lightly on my back. Supporting. “It’s the right move.” he said to my brothers. “Blackridge underestimates static defense. They prefer chaos.” Ash nodded once. “I’ll reroute holdings through shell entities. If they push legally, they’ll hit a wall.” Jax cracked his neck. “And if they don’t push legally?”

The Goddess Vessel

VANESSA'S POV The forced calm held, a fragile dam against the torrent of the Architect's advance. It was a terrible, necessary lie-a peace woven from sheer, agonizing will. But it held the line. The eastern front, though battered and giving ground, was no longer routing. They fought with a grim, robotic determination, a coordinated retreat toward the secondary defenses around the lodge itself.

His Rejected Mate's Secret

His Rejected Mate's Secret

It bent unnaturally toward the approaching wave, like the air itself was being pulled into alignment with something unseen. I stepped forward onto the battlement edge. Below, Bloodstone’s defensive layers were already reacting, archers nocking arrows, shield units forming lines, runners moving between stations. But I saw the hesitation. The slight delay in movement. The uncertainty that had not been there before. Fear wasn’t loud. It was slow. And it was spreading. The Red Tide hit the outer perimeter again. This time, it didn’t test. It pushed. The front line collided with our outer defense structures, and for the first time, I saw them behave differently.

The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

Mid-September. The Hearthfall holiday arrived. Before Hearthfall arrived, Hayley's first defensive line was officially completed. She stood in her office, studying the map in front of her. The first line of defense had started construction simultaneously from the south and the north. Each side stretched nearly six miles. The massive wall had been designed by the base engineers after countless sleepless nights. They optimized it to save materials and time while still ensuring durability and strong offensive capability. Both the northern and southern sections would continue to expand together. As construction advanced, the small outpost bases outside would be gradually withdrawn behind the wal

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

I also made sure to touch as many of these filthy creatures as I could so they'd simply catch themselves on fire and die. Before I was even half way done, I heard another burst and then a red cloud. Their frequency is increasing. 'Alpha, the defence line is on the verge of breaking!' I heard a frantic voice in my head. Fuck. 'I'm on my way.' Abandoning this herd, I ran towards the palace entrance, where the defence line started. Each defence line was made of two rows. The front row of warriors attacked the zombies and the row behind them defended with the help of shields and spears and took rest. After the attacking line was tired, they'd switch places.

Conquering The Emperor

Conquering The Emperor

Shin said with an evil chuckle. “I don’t want to be stuck with Ren when he’s mad…you know…” I admitted softly. “Neither do I. Good luck, My Lady,” Shin said before smiling widely at me. I followed Shin as he led me through endless rows of tents of various sizes while he explained the layout and arrangement to me. Basically, the medical team and everyone else who couldn’t fight were located almost at the back of the settlement. The furthest back were some soldiers that acted as the rear guard. Their job is to protect us if some enemy soldier decides to attack from behind.

With an enemy we knew little of and no clearly defined threat, peace won’t be possible. “It’s going to be about strength and preparedness, Alpha. We’ll continue to make the warriors stronger for the front line defense. We’ll continue to teach the able bodied territorial defenses and then of course let the junior warriors defend the packhouse with the help of the witches,” Clive added.
